Episode III Release Date Set

Lucasfilm has announced the release date for the last Star Wars film. Episode III, as the yet-untitled film is currently known, will open on May 19, 2005. Lucasfilm is planning a near simultaneous worldwide launch for the sixth and final Star Wars film. The one major exception to the worldwide simultaneous release will be Japan, where the film will open in July, which has become the traditional month for Star Wars films to open in Japan.

The cartoon is really superb. There are moments that are far beyond the movies. It is a little frustrating to watch for 5 minutes a day. But starting from the beginning and watching several episodes in a row reall pays off (thanks, Tivo!). Cynical Murph would watch it and say it is better than the movies.

Actually, I enjoyed Episode II
I didn't really care much for Episode I though. I'm sure that comes as no surprise.
