Pudge out for 6 weeks

Pudge Rodriguez is out for the next 4-6 weeks with a herniated disk in his lower back. This is a bda omen for the Rangers. Not only are they losing the best catcher in baseball, but they are going to have to sign another backstop. They will have to remove someone fro mthe 40 man roster to do so. Unless the Rangers feel Mike Lamb is ready t ocatch at the major league level, this bodes very badly for guys like Dan Miceli or Chris Michalak...one of these types will have to be released to make room on the roster for a new catcher.
