yeah.. another acura and another honda in the parking lotwas broken into in the same hour.

a year ago my car (in my parents driveway) got put on blocks over night and they took the wheels, stereo, etc. I was stupid enough to replace all that.

I have great luck lol

I've been there...college campus and all. My car wasn't nearly as nice (just an old Chevy Caviler) but it was all I had at the time.

There's not a more empty feeling than the one you get when you realize that you parked your car here and now it's gone.

Do you have OnStar?

There is an average 2 hour recovery here for stolen vehicles with OnStar.

Hopefully when they find your car the rings will still be around.

wow that totally sucks! I've never had a car stolen, but my brother's was stolen in high school at a church lock-in. Some loser stole a car from a church parking lot. It was found a few days later about 30 miles away. No major damage, just mainly stolen possessions. Several months later I was riding in the backseat. I think it was an 89 Jimmy or something like that. anyway, it had zipper pockets in the back seat next to the door on both sides. I unzipped one and found a nasty pink pair of panties. I immediately questioned my virginal brother. He said he had never seen them in his life. ew. so the thief left panties. what a classy thief.

my pilot had the back window smashed out of it, as someone ran away with what they thought was a laptop, but really turned out to be an overnight bag.

pretty funny in hindsight, as they probably thought they were getting a dell, and ended up with a used toothbrush, dirty underwear, pajamas, and worn old night wear.

That makes me feel even more gloomy than usual. I would have been the first to tell you that an Acura w/ 17' rims implies your car is doomed.

i understand that but i just hate that argument. Fortunately im the typical fairly broke college student so i just have my ford explorer that is pretty much factory with the exception of a clarion cd player(not a great one though) and some fosgate speakers(though you cant see them) I think im gonna upgrade next year though

Edit-this sucks fluid, hope things work out for you somehow.

Don't be discouraged............get something nice and you would like/enjoy. It will make you feel better in the long run........

You didn't say whether you had an alarm on it or not...........It would be a good investment next time if you decide to get another AI.......

Yeah I had an alarm on it, but I can't go too crazy on spending money for a car. I'm on a strict budget for it.. nothing more than 6500, would be better to find something around 5500 though.

Here is a good website for car shopping........

http://www.autotrader.com/research/index.jsp

Also......always get a Carfax report. Most of these ads have the VIN and that's all that you need.

Be wary of ads that don't......they probably have something to hide.

Happy car hunting!!!
