Even france recognizes crap when they see it
French review of Fahrenheit (hate america) 9/11.
french review
Quote:
After a Palm d'or with the Festival of Cannes and an immense success in the United States, Fahrenheit 9/11, Michael Moore, effective but simplistic and sometimes demagogic, leaves to France.
From its acknowledged objectives, its tone of leaflet, Fahrenheit 9/11 seems a film militant, even a propaganda film, which n'est not an infamy, like l'ont proven Dziga Vertov, Mikhaïl Kalatozov or Joris Ivens. What qu'en says the president of the jury, Quentin Tarantino, the reward symbolic system obtained by film with the Festival of Cannes 2004 does nothing but confirm this report. To suppose that this price was given for reasons which n'ont nothing to see with the fact that Quentin Tarantino and Michael Moore have the same producer (Miramax), to affirm, as made it l autor of Kill Bill, that Fahrenheit 9/11 n'a crowned that for its cinematographic qualities is either a proof d'incompétence, or a pure lie, or a foot of cynical nose. Assembly d'archives televisual and of reports to the devil, Fahrenheit 9/11 was crowned for political reasons. The style developed by Michael Moore since Roger and me has to see more with the Mad magazine, the tone Karl Zero or certain films d investigation intended for the small screen qu'à until the cinema waits d'une documentary creation.
