I think Danny Ainge is from Planet Moron but that's just me.

RE:walker-nowitzki feud?
As a Celtics fan I have never seen any basis for race being an issue for Antoine Walker. His antagonism with Ainge goes back to things Ainge said as a comments man that made Aw think that Ainge wasn't going to extend him. I believe AW saw himself as a foundation player for the Celtics and a legitimate All Star but he didnt think Ainge did. He was right.
If there is a problem with Dirk it will be the old problem of "two bulls- one paddock". Mav's are better as Dirk's team with AW as a sort of" Eric Williams with basketball skills" supporting role player. But AW has gotta shoot that three cos he doesnt buy that script. Sometimes that is great, who didnt get a hit watching the cocky upstart trash talking back to Shaq. What must be scary for the Mavs sports psychologists is that I am certain that AW believed this was a conversation between equals.
Thanks for Jiri he has been a real find who has made what is left of our offense work with great basketball smarts. Raef is still in hospital and our lawyers will be in touch with yours about that part of the trade. At least it got Mighty Toine of our board and onto yours.

RE:walker-nowitzki feud?
Well it takes the voice of reason to step in and correct this. People only saw half the story, Antoine ran at Best but then turned around and congratulated Dirk RIGHT after he congratulated Best. In case people don't know, Best and Walker have sort of built a bond together since they have been there because they are the knew guys and have played with each other before at various camps. So TRULY I think you all have made it slightly bigger than it needs to be. Imagine if that was Nash who got the rebound and he kicked it out to Walker, who do you think Dirk would run up to first? NASH because that's his boy.
Now if these two are having a problem with one another, I don't know of it but that wouldn't surprise me. The only reason I say that is because this team was filled with people who was team first prior to these trades and now you have players who have not always been that way throughout their career and they have to adjust to the TEAM first concept. Even though it was team first before, Dirk had established himself as the man, now that Walker is here and poses just as much of a mismatch as Dirk, I think it kind of bothers Dirk. However, if that does, then that's just Dirk being young because regardless of how much of a mismatch Walker poses, Dirk is still the man.

I noticed him going to BEST first also. Once I noticed walker tring to bump chest w/Dirk and Dirk just backed away from him. Dirk is not a chest bumper, and walker is.

RE: walker-nowitzki feud?
there is no feud. all it was was that dirk took a shot and then antawn jamison rebounded it tried to put i back up, misssed, got his rebound, thne tried to put i back up again but then missed it and every big man was in the middle but Travis Best rebounded it over people about a foot taller then him, sweinged it out to drik and dirk made the shot. that is why antoine walker congragulated travis best because it was such a great rebound without him who knows what would have happened if he did not get that rebound

RE:walker-nowitzki feud?
It was nice to see Dirk & Walker slapping hands and encouraging each other in the Denver game tonight. I think the adversity the Mavs are overcoming will serve them well as the year progresses.

You are correct. Dirk is no chest bumper. And that's all I have to say about that.

RE:walker-nowitzki feud?
In the 4th quarter after Dirk nailed the first of two free throws only Finley came over to slap hands with Dirk. The other player must have something against Dirk.
DAMN JAMISON TO HELL FOR HATING ON DIRK!

RE:walker-nowitzki feud?
Travis Best didn't french kiss Dirk after that freethrow either.... I just know this whole team is gonna blow all to hell at any minute now!

RE: walker-nowitzki feud?
jamison once said in an interview that dirk always makes jokes in the locker room calling everyone "brother". maybe AW doesn't like this kind of intimacy. I think it's about time that Dirk establishes himself as a true leader. He is old enough now. Walkers future is more than uncertain, so he should keep a low profile and work on his shot selection. No matter if there is a problem between the two, the scene at the game was at least a bit strange. You don't avoid eye contact with a teammate who is right in front of you after such a play.

RE:walker-nowitzki feud?
I read it in the Dallas Morning News some weeks ago. Jamison talked about how nice it is to be a Maverick. So he didn't seem to have a problem with Dirk's "funny" side. I would love to see the reaction of Sheed next time Dirk says "hey brother, wos upp". But I would even love more to see Sheed staying where he is, of course...
