Should Najera Start in Walker's place in Game 4?
I think it's a good idea so that he can keep Webber under-wraps for awhile and let our team bust out to a big lead....then he can go to the bench, and Walker comes in to help Finish the Queens off.

IMO, it's too late in the season to make that kind of a change. Plus, the Mavs' starting lineup finally got the better of Sac's starting lineup yesterday. Keep bringing Eddie off the bench.

It is a good suggestion but why take chances on whether or not Walker can accept a move to the bench. We've got momentum now so why make changes. Just sub in Eddie about half way through the 1st quarter.

Hmmm...good point. IF Walk is playing well and is showing signs of continuing that good play, you keep him in. If not, Make the call to the Mavs Bullpen and bring in EDDIE in Relief!
GO MAVS!!

Walker needs more confidence.....it would be counter-productive to bench him now...unless he's injured and can not play.....

Not a good idea to start Eddie, but great idea to give him a lot of Walker's minutes. Shawn and Eddie should split Walker's minutes.

I don't think Walker's really playing poorly. He should start. The important thing is that Najera should get consistent minutes in the matchup against Webber, because he does such a great job against him.

Absolutely NOT. Eddie is most valuable off the bench.

Walker hasn't been too bad at the 5 either. He hasnt dominated but I've definitely seen him worse.

Nellie has actually done a pretty good job of bringing in Najera whenever Webber is playing well.

I think Nellie has shown that he wants a lot of offensive force as the starting 5. Walker is more for Sactown to have to deal with defensively than is Eddie.

RE: Should Najera Start in Walker's place in Game 4?
I'd love to see Najera starting again, but it'll have to wait until next season. Even then it'll depend on a couple things. First, Walker is traded. Second, we're unable to sign or receive a center by trade that would start.
It won't do any good to start him during the Kings series because we can't afford to have him pick up quick and cheap fouls. And we already know the refs are watching that matchup. Not to mention that it could cause some serious problems by benching Walker at this time.
It's a tough call because Najera (like Bradley) can really change the tempo of a game. And it's nice to have that available off the bench. On the other hand, if you start one of those guys you might not need to bring someone in who can change the tempo because it was set from the start.

RE:Should Najera Start in Walker's place in Game 4?
I really don't want to rely on Najera as a center against most teams. Before the last couple of games, it had been a long time since he'd put together two mediocre games in a row. However, Webber appears to be a big enough of a wuss to where he can be intimidated rather easily. Najera is in his head, and that is sad. Webber is being punked by a player that has little explosion, is too short, and is a rather average defender overall. It must be disheartening for Kings fans to know that your 'superstar' can be taken out of the game by someone such as Najera.

RE:Should Najera Start in Walker's place in Game 4?
MFF, It wouldn't shock me in the least if Cuban decides to wait until the Trading Deadline to deal Walk where his Value would be even higher.....
Remember that the NBA Teams that require or would love to get some cap space Aren't going anywhere....
Me personally? I'd like to see Walker with this team after a FULL TRAINING CAMP. If he gives us something better, he will further increase his value....
