Brunson, Burke, Powell and THJ on the floor all together.

Clippers have Leonard, George , Williams and Zubac on the floor and you wonder why the Mavs are always willing to give them a few easy possessions doing a game it's because of crap lineups like that with no size at defend their big wings.

We got a 6'6 rookie who can play some form of defense and 7'0 center who can move his feet on his defense.

But the problem is Rick he sends out these small ass lineups that he knows damn well can't defend vs the Clippers

That help defense block shot at the rim by WCS is the exact reason why Powell shouldn't sniff the floor.

POwell can't contest shots like that by George but Rick refuses to just play this guy in garbage time or emergency situations like he does Boban

That lineup defended well and contested shots but I'm guessing Rick only used it to get Kleber a breather.

When you watch these two games vs the Clippers there's no question they could eliminate Paul George from a playoff matchup if they added Gordon. He would shut that shit down and Leonard would have to play a perfect 7 games in order to beat the Mavs.

Gordon would be the perfect 6'8 wing that this team needs to matchup out west vs bigger teams.

Throw dude on LeBron, George, Leonard, Ingram, Porter Jr, DeRozan or Booker.

We don’t really have any assets. Orlando isn’t trading Gordon for Powell.

Sometimes I wish Luka would be more disciplined in regards to the 3 and protecting the ball.

You get the feeling he can destroy teams in the paint but he settles a bit and let's them off the hook.

It just seems like very teams can stop him from driving and they almost wish he would settle.

halfway through the 3rd and not a single shot for KP in the QTR.

These happened in the 4th qtr of the 1st game when he was cooking and they wouldn't allow him to get up shots.

I also think that's why KP will sometimes just jack up a few quick shots because he becomes impatient going long stretches without touches.

This jersey situation is so stupid and avoidable. Both teams with turnovers directly related to it. There has been a few games with the same issue.

This not a good matchup for him....

He can't drive to the rim vs the Clippers and his lack of size makes it tough for him to get off quality shots.

The best option might be to play him with Luka and just have him spot up in the corner like DFS or Kleber. That would get him open looks when the defense collapse on Luka

If the Mavs could just cut down on the turnovers in these games.

The Clippers are good defensively but sometimes the Mavs cough up the ball way too much on simple passes without much defensive pressure.

He's young

He can handle those minutes occasionally

Other stars will play big minutes in these types of games often.

Besides they had like a two week break between the winter storm and the all star break of games.
