I've noticed this too. They never seem to go all the way to the shooter even when there's time to get there. Either that or they jump at the shot early like they're actually gonna cap a 3 pt attempt, and fly by giving the shooter an open look. How about just getting a hand in the friggin guy's face in order to make a low percentage shot even more difficult. How many 3s have to drop on their heads before they adjust? Just baffling. Del, where the hell are ya'?!

RE:Dallas @ Miami
Damn... Why did Dirk foul out in this one?
But great game by Daniels, too bad we didn't win it.

Why? Well, most people didn't notice something that occurred about mid-way through the 4th. The officials came over to Dirk and told him to 'Bend over forward and grab your ankles'....I didn't catch rest of the conversation.

Just think, the board wouldn't be angry over the game if that damn official hadn't called a T on Howard. One point sometimes makes all the difference. I can't even understand WHY the official called that T.

RE: Dallas @ Miami
Well josh sort of "threw" the ball at the ref instead of tossing it to him. He probably deserved the T.

Even the ESPN announcers thought it was a strange call. The ref blew the whistle and Howard threw him the ball. He even threw it low so it wouldn't hit the ref in the face. He DID throw it really quickly after the whistle but it wasn't like he was trying to bean the guy.

It was his attitude not his action. His bounce pass wouldnt have gotten him a technical if he hadn't acted angry and given the ref a dirty look.

We don't get points for leading the game with 2.5 seconde left. Does anyone really doubt last year's team would have done better than this team, even with the whole west upgraded? This was the last of it for me. I'm looking forward to offseason movement, trading for defensive players. The big 3 are more than enough offense, we don't need any more scorers whatsoever, we must trade for defensive players.

Well, we may not be an elite team but neither are you guys this year and that opinion is shared by most. No disrespect to your team, but I take this as a serious slap in the face. The Heat were the hottest team in the league when they faced you guys. They finished the month of March at 12-3, only the Grizzlies and maybe Lakers had a better record in March and they are 9-1 in thier last 10. Pretty good for not being elite, if I do say so myself. This isn't your Heat from last year or the year before, and is certainly not the same Mavericks team. You guys have regressed, and I would say the Heat are on par with you guys right now. They are definitely a better home team, than you guys are on the road. I feel if the Heat wouldv'e taken care of business, this game wouldn't have been close especially with us being at home. Our defense was just not there, which I have no real answer as to why. If we were to play you in a series, I think the Heat could take it but thats just my opinion and I wouldnt get a chance to find out unless we played you guys in the finals(I know, I know).
