Adrian Wojnarowski

@wojespn
Houston's priority for free agency, league sources tell ESPN: Pursue a sign-and-trade for Sixers All-Star Jimmy Butler.

Who are they trading for Butler?? Seems like he only compounds the "1 ball" problem with Harden/CP3.

Eric Gordon, Capella and two 1st rounders I'd imagine.

Nice, for a player you were going to lose for nothing any ways. Capela next to Embiid? Gordon would help Simmons a ton, creating lots of run way for him to navigate. But those 2 firsts would be nice.

Yeah and this is not happening if Butler dont wanna end up in Houston. I dont think he wants if he could go to any LA team

The Rockets trying to add Jimmy Butler to a locker room with CP3 and James Harden
what a huge stinkpot this would be...
Can you imagine Butler getting on Harden about his defense - let the chaos ensue.

Clearly the motivation behind getting Butler is having someone who actually plays better in clutch moments as opposed to you know... Harden. That is if Harden lets someone else have the ball.

But yeah this sure sounds like trying to put out a fire with gasoline.
