My vote still goes for the best player on the best team. The Mavs have played the best in the 1st half and Dirk is their best player.

I say Duncan second best record in the league. The best post player besides Shaq and a Great defensive player. They have beaten the three best teams in the league something we can't say. Dirk has been great but he has help, who is on San Antonio besides Duncan.

Dirk is my Mid-season MVP. I like dirk to win the MVP this season because of his leadership and that he's starting to get popular around the world. He has put up great numbers for the mavs and is one of the reasons why they have the record they have today.

i see what ur saying lrb, but i think kevin garnett is the mid-season mvp because just look at his numbers. he has had an unbelieveable season in minnesota and just look at what of an impact he's had on the twolves. mavs play @ minn tue, feb 11. we'll see whos better, dirk or kg
