The Rice Owls have defeated the Texas Longhorns 5-4 to eliminate the horns and move into the National Champioship.

They will play the Stanford-Cal State Fullerton winner for all the marbles.

I was so hoping we would have at least gotten Rice to an elimination game. I knew we were in deep you know what when they beat us the first time. Loved knocking Miami out however. That was very satisfactory. The Longhorns had a great year and I am proud of that. And Mandyahl, I hate Rice so go Stanford!!!

Plus I have a good friend at Stanford so I have to root for them.

stanford just beat rice 8-3, so now the series is tied 1-1 with the deciding game tomorrow.

Yeah, very embarrasing for Stanford. Romanczuk got rattled early and he never recovered. Congratulations to the Owls.
