For the life of me I will never understand why Stack is still on this team. I thought when AJ left he was taking Stack with him.

I think Dirk sat too much in the 4th and then struggled to get touches. Personally, I want the guy taking more than 3 shots in the 4th quarter of a tight game. Carlisle is going to have to figure out a way to get him a breather somewhere else other than for a long stretch of the 4th.

That was absolutely pathetic.

Sure there was.
1)We have ZERO low post offense, not even one threat. To have success in the playoffs we will need some kind of inside out game and unfortunately we have no one that poses a threat to most good teams.

2)Artest and the rest played good defense when it counted. Artest played really good D on Josh and Dirk.

*Without what JHo and Dirk brought, we would have been blownout completely.

Dirk led the way late in the game again with HORRIBLE jumpshots most were fadeaways and Jho soon followed.

The defense was sub-par, especially when it mattered most(again).

The offense looked good for most of the game until it got tight. Our big3 played well but there are too many J's still and when they aren't falling we just have nothing inside. Bass is too small and as good as he can be it's not enough. Damp-Diop are laughable(offensively). Dirk is currently the only hope but it's just not his game. We need some help, I hope a move is made
to correct this. If not forget it.

I still dig our team...We just played a tough team that had a warm-up game last night and has a 7'5'' center that can shoot to go along with a niice low post game. They are a solid team for sure, we'll see what we are.

We have to get more from our centers for sure.

Jason Terry also is on the red flag watch for me. I don't even care that his shot was off, he is late on defense all the time to where I want to scream at him. The Mavs can't seem to shake the shooting guard issues for the life of them. Notice too that Terry has always had issues with being consistent off the bench. I hope noone really was expecting great things from Stackhouse anymore. He frankly just doesn't have it anymore.

Mavericks with Jason Kidd = legitimate
Mavericks without Jason Kidd = terrible

Has JET forgot how to run an offense when he is the primary backup point guard?

JET with Jason Kidd = legitimate
JET without Jason Kidd = guy who can't get his own shot or run an offensive set

Does Kidd have to play 48 minutes? SURELY, we have a guy on this roster that can play back up point guard for 10-12 minutes?

Yeah, Terry has lost almost all abilities to run the point. That was evident last season when Harris went down, and Terry looked like he had never played the position before.

Terry isn't the same player he was against SA in the playoffs or even on that 67 win season. Who knows what is going on. I just want his play to catch up with his mouth.

I totally agree. For how long Dirk sat on the bench in the fourth? The first 5 minutes? That's way too long and afterwards he had problems to find his touch again.
