I got a SNES Mini a couple years back, decided to fire it up recently. I modded it to put pretty much ever SNES game ever on it, been playing the hell out of NBA Jam — it’s like a flashback to high school, I love it!

I play the NBA Jam Arcade game through MAME arcade emulator, and use a laptop that's hooked up to TV with HDMI. I have the one version rom that has the Mortal Kombat characters, they were removed by the NBA because they didn't like them being involved with their brand.

I did that on Xbox 360 with CyberBall. Nostalgia...

I have been playing crusader kings 3, some times known as the Game Of Thrones simulator. I LOVED ck2 but am enjoying ck3 as well. It's too soon to compare the two I think.

Hope nobody tried getting a PS5...yikes. Has me worried about getting a Series X.
I did preorder my Oculus Quest 2 though.

Xbox console looks amazing. I just look at their games catalogue and there's zero exclusives that are even the slightest bit appealing to me.
PS5 console itself looks like ass, is less powerful, and it's a nightmare actually getting one, but that game catalogue.
Might just stick to PC/Switch and maybe check out the Switch 2 when it comes out next year.

Yeah, the chances of getting a Switch 2 at launch...you can't even get a reasonably priced Switch these covid days.
I remember when companies were thinking of pushing releases of the new consoles back. And then gaming become hotter than the sun.
Brother got the Quest 1, and I tried it out. Hooked me, and I'm pretty anti-vr. No PC makes it a winner and the second one looks even better. The 256g model is already sold out on their site.

Succumbed to the ado around Cyberpunk 2077 and bought it. Regretted of that for a long time after the purchase only recently after a number of patches had been released I managed to play it normally. Still play Destiny 2 which I consider 1 of the best games in recent years. It is exciting to upgrade one's characters in the game!

A near-perfect game with mass appeal and amazing potential for growth. First, let me say I played EQ2 for a full month. Although it is also a fun game, it won't run smoothy on most modern machines and sticks to heavily to the MMO status quo. I choose WoW over EQ2 and I've never looked back. One of the best things about WoW is the philosophy behind the design of the game. The game believes more in rewards than punishment - something 99% of MMOs haven't learned yet. When you die, you don't lose experience in WoW. When you go on quests (and there are tons for every character level), you usually get a large experience reward and something extra like special armor, rings, potions, etc. I'm much less frustrated playing this MMO than I was in SWG, EQ2, or even CoH. Because it is so rewarding, it is incredibly fun. And, it doesn't take a year to get your character to its highest level. But, don't be misled, just because it is run, has few punishments, and is easy to level doesn't mean it isn't challenging and difficult in all the right areas. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

I am the fan of the Game of Thrones universe but this game is not to my liking at all, alas.

Finally finished Greedfall... God that game refused to end. I haven't seen padding that bad since Alien Isolation. It was a solid AA RPG by the talented developers at Spiders but it was too long.
Hopping into World of Warcraft now! For me the game is an ultimate must-play especially after discovering this awesome service https://leprestore.com/wow-us/

It's ridiculously good. I have issues with roguelike games like that. If they are bad, I hate them so much. If they are good like Hades (and Slay the Spire) then I can't stop playing them for months and months.
