I still dont know why Holmes doesnt get to fn play. If hes not playing with trash maxi out, then he definitely wont play when hes back. Might as well get rid of him. Such a waste of a fairly useful player.

I dont want to give up on Hardy, but we need a 4 or back up 5 who is a guaranteed lock to play. So idk what any combo of Green, Hardy, holmes and Maxi gets you but, if we can get a quality starting 4 or a solid back up big then Im now open to it. I still think Hardy is a starter in this league with all-star potential.

Toughest game to win in the NBA is on the road against an elite team. Mavs went toe to toe against Giannis having a 40 point game. This could not have happened a year ago.

Unfortunately. a lot of teams lose the first game at home after a tough road trip. Having it come in a B2B makes it even harder.

Kings have won 5 straight, but like Dallas, they haven't beaten any really good teams. Ther losses are 2 each to Golden State, who is 6-8, and Houston. They have yet to play anyone as good as Denver or the Bucks.

Mavs need to be good enough to beat mediocre teams at home consistently. That's what good teams do. So how good are they?

Thing is, it doesn't matter how much we score. We're on pace for 124 points. We don't need Luka to score.

We need to not allow the Kings to be on pace for 142pts shooting 57% from the field and over 47% from three.

Defense is so so so busted.

Holmes is the new Mcgee here

He won't see the floor despite the teams lack of rebounding and interior defense.

Powell simply can't be replaced here.

Plus for the 2nd straight year kidd has already given up on defense for this team. He basically said it again they have to score 130 points to win Games

Instead of demanding Luka and kyrie to give better effort he takes the chicken shit way out and says let just try to outscore everyone

I find it fucking amazing that Denver with Jokic, Murray and Porter all on the floor together van still find ways to get stop and play team defense when needed.
