They get a much needed veteran shooter and we get a legit 3-D wing who can handle the ball.
Would Curry/#18 for Richardson/#34 or #36 have any chance?

Great prediction. Fortunately the 76ers didn't value Richardson quite as high as you did

Woooooo. Always good news.
Richardson is going to be sick. He's one of the best defenders of PGs/SGs and we got wrecked by both last year.
Plus there's hope that he's actually a decent 3pt shooter when open. Doncic is going to get him some open shots.

Totally agree about his defense - I always cringed when DFS went off the floor.
Richardson's defense and length really going to help.

What a draft IMO. At least 23 players who can come in and either immediately contribute or have some nice upside.

And we wound up with 3 of those players. Pretty good odds that at least ONE of them will be a contributing player for us

LOL....yeah I have to admit Donnie is smarter than me at BB.
I would have been ecstatic for a straight up Seth for Richardson deal.

Do these moves make Brunson available for trade?
Or Does it mean Burke may not get re-signed?

They like Brunson and he's on contract, but they'd be insane to say he's untouchable.
Burke is tricker. I think they like him despite his defensive lapses. He's a complete UFA and I think they want to keep him on a small deal while maybe grabbing another upgrade. I could see them blowing their wad on one player while he walks after a low offer. We need him cheap and that's where it gets so tricky.

A bit late as the draft is over, but I really like this website and agree with quite a few of their draft takes:

Don't get me wrong, Desmond Bane is nice. He benefits a lot from playing next to Ja. The real prize we whiffed on is Tyrese Maxey. Putting up similar numbers to Bane, but 2 years younger and bears a lot of the ball handling duties (pre-Harden). It literally hurts my heart to watch him play.

Lots of teams passed on Bane and Maxey, so it's at least understandable to miss out on those two.
Bey was the easy and obviously choice. He isn't shooting well this season, but he is still a productive player.
But this is what you get when your FO is in love with guys like DFS and THJ. I truly believe they drafted guys they knew wouldn't play. Hell, even when Josh Green plays well, he still doesn't get minutes.
