Can't believe the Lakers are losing to a Phx team without Booker and Beal.
And how did the Sixers get Oubre for 2.8 million? I never understand the knock on that guy? Does he have some weird Christian Wood aura or something where teams just don't like him for some odd reason? 27 points tonight.

Memphis 0-3. There are people that put them as the 2-3rd best in the West.

Imagine if we had gotten Ayton and Thybulle as our offseason moves. Both of them have been hot garbage

was just thinking this too - Thybulle in particular many were pining for. it's not perfectly fair since Portland has a much worse team with no superstars now but he's not a difference maker for them obviously. stupid spite on their part. they should be looking to trade brogdon to the highest bidder and honestly they should strongly consider trading grant. They're several years away from contending and it'd help their tank

LMFAO Sixers don't get Norman Powell OR Terrance Mann for Harden.
Poor Morey is gonna be out of a job by the end of the season.

Simmons is probably the worst part of The Ringer, but I like his take on Clippers/Harden
Basically says that the Clips would have been better off selling Kawhi and PG and rebooting. They were almost out of assets and spent their last $2 on Harden. Thinks they at most will lose in the WCF and can't win a championship as is.
Teams with all older vets never win the championship with only one exception-- Dallas. Most teams flame out and if this team flares out, they do so without another favorable pick this decade.

Clippers have a depth/injury problem...not a talent one. There is no way Kawhi and PG stay healthy. Adding Harden does very little to alleviate those issues.

Warriors won on what looked like a pretty obvious basket interference by Draymond.

how can they be that bad if JJJ and Bane are so good?
do they really miss D Brooks that much? last year they were fine without Ja a lot of the time.

Might as well say ?how can the Mavs miss the playoffs with Kyrie and Luka.
The NBA in 2023 requires bigs and having Adams, Clark, and Aldama out hurts them more than the little wannabe Ja being out

He?s the definition of numbers on a bad/depleted team
Still, Mavs are absolutely shit when Lovely had an off night like tonight and he?d be a perfect second stringer.
Crazy that he?s barely over the BAE and equal to taxpayer MLE.
UFA next season if we want him.

Bulls shopping Lavine per Shams.
Get Drummond or Vucevic.

You had me in the first half. Kyrie is better than LaVine in every way.
But you are right--Drummond would literally be the perfect backup to Lively. His picks are top notch and he is one of the most accomplished rebounders of his generation. He had an ego. issue, but it almost bumped him from the league and now he has tie humility to be a solid backup/spot starter.

Lol...Drummond has had a couple of games so far where he's damn near averaging a rebound a minute. 11 and 13 rebounds in 15 mins each in those games.
Paint presence leaves a lot to be desired, but the Mavs could certainly do much worse if they sit around with their hands tied.
