Utahs playing good right now and all, but they can't beat LA. Not a chance. Either can OKC.
Denver, Dallas, and LA are the only teams capable of getting to the finals for the west.

I have a really good feeling about this team too, well actually I always have this feeling about this team. I know we can if everybody puts their head in the game. Imagine Dirk, Kiddo, Marion, Jet, Butler, Haywood, et al. winning the trophy. But I'd be pretty happy for Dirk and Kiddo.. Optimism should be the attitude that we have here, just support our team and stop whining. LETS GO MAVS!!!

I really enjoy this team playing. But a championship is a little far-fetched. Anything can happen and I would love to be proved wrong. But I've been disappointed many times already with this team.

Theres also going to be a huge surprise after we win the title. I wont say it right now because you would simply laugh but I reserve the right to apply it to this post when it happens. Ask yourself if you witness a miracle is it in you to even recognize it? This is my last post of this thread until it occurs.

If the Mavs can get Damp and Tim back I think they have a good shot at beating the Lakers now.....I remember nobody gave the Mavs a chance in hell when they met the Spurs in the second round on the 2006 playoffs, the Spurs where also supposed to repeat that season but the Mavs stop that and beat them, I'm not saying the Mavs are gonna beat the Lakers in the playoffs but they have a better shot now.

If this surprise is Bob Ortegel disrobing after the buzzer sounds, running around the court as confetti streams down, and screaming his lungs off until he gets shot by a tranquilizer gun, then you aren't surprising anyone.

We're gonna win it all. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either stupid or a Lakers fan. Oh wait, arent those 2 the same thing?

Roddy B plays significant minutes = WCF/NBA Finals, JJB getting more than scrub/plug in minutes = 1st/2nd round loss.
