I don't know about his chances of stealing the nomination from Hill-Dog, but I'd love to see it... I mean, at least the Democrats would be running an actual liberal instead of someone who is despised by both the left and the right.
EDIT: Just moved this conversation out of the American Sniper thread.

Where's the 'Bernie Sanders' thread?

I just wonder who in the hell is supporting Clinton if both the left and right hate her.

Big fan of Bernie myself.
If Trump actually wins the Republican nomination, then I definitely like Bernie's chances in the general election against him if Bernie got the bid.
Seems like a long shot that Bernie will get the nomination, but I at least won't be too afraid to vote for him in the primaries if it looks like Trump is still in the lead.
By the way - this would have to be the most entertaining election ever if Bernie and Trump are the candidates. Maybe Hillary and Rand Paul or Ted Cruz as VP. Trump would probably pick his son as his running mate though.

Man, Sanders vs. Trump would be epic... It'd be nice to see a true left vs. right election, with nobody pandering to the middle. At least these guys are honest about who they are and what they believe -- I'm not sure if I can say that about anyone else in the field.

Pretty shocking how far Sanders has come. I didn't think he had a chance back in early June, but now polls show him slightly ahead in NH....

Bernie is apparently leading Hillary. Hillary's camp is now running scared and starting with the attack ads.
The one thing both sides may agree on is that Cruz and Hillary are a-holes.

Not shocking how well Bernie is doing with the election getting closer. Love or hate him, the guy rarely flip flops on any issue.
I still don't think he gets the nomination, but he'll give Hillary a serious run for her money.

Neocons are socialist too, but the difference is that protection and financial aid, from their perspective, is only to be distributed among big companies, banks a.s.o.

I also wondered why the Democrats go with those corrupt Clintons once more. Seems, the don“t have many options. / Good article.

I had a dream a few months ago that Hillary was indicted before the convention for her email server and Bernie got the nod and beat a nose-picking Cruz
Well we saw Cruz eat a bugger in live TV, even if he didn't pick it. Hilary's email person was just granted immunity. We're getting there.
