Sorry Mandy. It was sarcasm.
I never understood the phrase, "blessing in disguise." That's what many said of Finley's injury because it gives minutes to Stackhouse, Daniels, and Howard. None of them have stepped up really. Stackhouse has 0 rebounds in 17 minutes and has more shots than Dirk. Howard's shooting has been atrocious and it's debatable what Daniels is doing.
No, I don't really think it's good news for Harris and Daniels if Terry is out for a couple games or if Booth, Bradley, and MBenga get minutes if Damp is out for a few as well.

RE:Phoenix @ Dallas Gameday Thread
It is tough to play bradley against the suns. Amare is a terrible matchup for him. the suns are also a tough team to Zone with Nash's passing and their spot up shooters. DJ would probably be overmatched right now against Amare. Nellie doesn't have much choice outside of Booth tonight now that Damp is done.

I'm loving Stack's great play and defense tonight. This guy is MJ-like.

I'd like to see Dirk do more passing rather than shooting as of right now.

yeah, i got the reference, but it just struck me as funny for some reason. i do agree that blessing in disguise is not really the best phrase to choose when an important cog on the team gets injured. the "beneficial" side effects of an injury are better described as a silver lining, in my opinion...and i have no problem with this optimistic point of view. but to me, an injury can never be a blessing.
now back to this disgusting, disgusting game.

harris and stackhouse both have more shots than dirk...dirk maybe isn't as on fire as he has been, but he's still the man on this team. get him the ball!

Harris seems to be getting to the rack at ease with Nash on him. Why aren't we taking advantage of that?

If things go the way they are going then we won't have to see Nash in the 4th?

good call on the harris thing...i'm just watching on gamechannel, so it's hard for me to tell what's really happening, but the man does have 4 steals and seems to be playing decently from the stats. i'll take that, i guess.

I'm like Mandy. I'm "watching" on Game Channel. Can someone fill me in on the severity of the two injuries (Damp and Terry)?
Also, how about Mantis leading the charge?

Terry's injury sounded really bad, like it could be a few games. Dampier, not sure.

RE:Phoenix @ Dallas Gameday Thread
Damn that was quick. It's the Harris and Bradley show. Nice hook shot by the way by Bradley. If he can hit that consistently I don't mind him doing that more often. Looked pretty which is something I thought i'd never say about Bradley's offense. Harris is really starting to play more comfortable now. I wonder why? Is it because Nash is guarding him or is it because he's actually getting minutes which is somewhat forced because Terry is injured?
