Time to stop the bleeding. It's a critical point of the game. Pretty weak shooting out there.

He sure seems stubborn about his stretch 4. It's been Dirk CV3 or Parsons at the 4 basically all year. Powell and Lee both only see time at the 5 rly. And CV3 shouldn't even be a stretch with how he shoots tbh.

Lee at 5 equals a Mavs loss. Is RC blind.

I guess there's a reason why CV is playing.
But I can't come up with one.
Maybe his incredible preseason 2014?

Blazers up 15. Dwill is a no show on offense. Dirk been saving this franchise for last 16+ years. Anyone that says Cuban is the reason is not a true mavs fan.

These techs are a joke. Having 5 ft's is also a joke. But constantly playing CV3 instead of basically anyone the hell else is just flat mind blowing right now. He give no offense and no defense. At least put one of the 3 centers in for him and Have Dirk play the 4 instead of the 5.

RC does not value defense. Charlie provides his precious spacing.

Imagine if we had Aminu on this team still.
Could have had 2 defensive STUDS in Aminu and Mejri next to Dirk. Another MISTAKE by Mark Cuban

May lose this game, but there have been some really entertaining plays and some fight. They've come a long way. Also, Mejri is just a blast to watch. When he goes out the defense just gets tight

Only want Lee back next season if he is the primary forward backup. Don't want him if he gets major minutes at center. He is similar to 1st half of the season Zaza in many ways

Mavs might have won if RC didn't replace him with Lee for so long.

Trade Dirk to the blazers. They'd be instant contenders with Dirk, Lillard, and McColumn.

I agree. It all started with the GS game when the team decided to start enjoying playing the game again.
If you're going to lose and aren't very good, then you might as well make it worth it. They def have the last three games.

Not much of a play drawn up there, Rick. Refs also missed the travel by Lillard.

109 Blazers 103 Mavs. Mavs back under 500 with a 35-36 record.
Good things from this game we learned is that Mejri is Whiteside 2.0 and Dirk is still playing at a high level. Now just get ready for next season and build of these 2 players. Get rid of Parsons and replace him with a SF that plays on both ends like when we had Shawn Marion. I think Wesley will get better next season and we're stuck with his huge contract anyways.

Anyone who clamored for Mejri to play more has a pretty good case right now. Sometimes, though, things happen when they're supposed to.

The rest of the week is gonna be important. They will obviously lose against GSW, so they should rest the starters and let CV, Powell et co. show their skills. They must win against Sacramento and Denver. Both of those teams have nothing to gain anymore, so energy and passion are needed.
Have we already lost the tiebreaker against Houston because they have beaten us twice at this point?

Haha I remember earlier in the season when I said Mejri would be the starter over Zaza and that Zaza should be the backup. I've been right about alot of things.
Monta over Parsons
Mejri over Zaza

I'm still ticked a little at Rick for not playing Mejri earlier in the year when we were starving for a backup center when McGee was out.
Same thing he did to Aminu last season.
Also feel for Zaza going from a near all-star about a month ago to Rick's doghouse.

Felton/Harris/JJ
Monta/Wesley
Aminu/Crowder/Anderson
Dirk/Lee/Wright
Mejri/Tyson
This team would contend in the West. Top 4 team for sure. Right mix of offense and defense. All possible if we never signed Parsons or traded for Rondo.
