hmmmm ESPN lists no injuries for Dallas, but I'm sure KP and S. Brown are still questionable. Either way, you don't lose these games with the aspirations the Mavs have.

A game that the Mavs should win. But it wouldn't shock many people if they lose as well. A symptom of being an average to an above average team.

Espn isn't often plugged in very well to team injuries

The "worldwide leader in sports" could certainly do much better in many ways...

I did see Burke (covid restrictions) and KP (back) listed as out. Nothing on S. Brown yet.

Those are KP's numbers but yeah everyone outside of Brunson, Hardaway, Bullock, and Maxi have been absolutely atrocious at shooting so far.

Me to. Not only regarding defense but offence. Efforts should be made to integrate him as a potential secondary playmaker. If not him, who else? Brunson is good but limited, I think that's established. Whytf did they get him to put him on the bench? When are they gonna try and integrate him if not at the fuckin' beginning? He needs confidence for starters.

Pacers are 1-4 and most fans didn't want Kidd.

But this frankly doesn't surprise me when you aren't serious about putting a legit roster around Luka.

Pacers are a different team to Dallas. They're at a different place. A different job. That example does not make sense.
There is ALREADY a very strong squad BUILT around Luka.

From what I gathered about RC, sometimes he would play certain players just to BED THEM into the team LONG TERM. So they can show up in a crunch game in certain important situations (playoffs) in the future.
This increasingly looks like a mess, and Kidd is just managing it with no thought given to such things.
It's early alright. But this does not look good at all.

Tit for tats are boring these days, but this is not a strong roster especially with KP out. And he hasn't been good on top of that.

Luka could carry a team to 50 wins by himself with any roster though, so there is that.

If you sit on the bench and get a moment's chance while the big guy is out, it is not easy to keep your composure. Make all the proper decisions. Especially in absence of a system.

Kidd is teaching this team how to win games when the jump shots don't fall

Which I think is a step up from RC's way of doing it which is why they were bounced out the playoffs every year since 2011 under his control.

All the Kidd hate and yet this team is playing much better defense and finding ways to stay in games when those 3 point bricks aren't falling
