We are going to be hard as hell to beat when you can't double Kyrie because Luka's on the floor (and vice versa). Wow what a complete 180. Going to enjoy this high for now.

If Kidd isn?t a dope then we alternate Kyrie and Luka all game and in the fourth we get both. When defenses tighten up, we have the first and third best iso guys in the league producing unparalleled efficiency while also being incredibly passers to the other three players

Pinson, Green and Bullock might just be a solid trio of wing defenders

If they can get someone like Thybuile for cheap as that insurance defender they may be set on the wings

I don't think THJ is going anywhere unless you attach a FRP with him

Wood doesn't seem like in he's going to be here unless he was just playing timid because of the trade rumors

He might not want to go LA and decided to play terrible LOL

Team looks totally different after the trade even after last game. Guys just needed a wakeup call or maybe some of the outgoing guys were part of the problem. Who knows, I just know that this is finally Mavs basketball again.

i never read the series the FP writers at mavsmoneyball have done on "Basketball is about feelings" but how's this for one? The first time feeling like Kidd needs to put Josh Green back in the game already or things are going to get out of hand

but yeah we could use someone else to put out there. Having Maxi will help. I guess Frank is not going to work out...

Kyrie actually played really solid D... i mean he has no hope of bothering Kawhi or PG13's shot but he played them well straight up when he got switched.

Luka is gonna have to give up some ball handling duties. Not sure why he wouldn't though? It can no longer be Luka dribbles while everyone else stands around. And again, not sure why this is a difficult solve. I'm sure Luka is happy to take the load off his shoulders 24/7.

Both him and Bullock played 40 minutes

That looked really similiar to how they used DFS and Bullock in the playoffs last year

So I'm guessing KIdd is going to role with them two as the primary defenders and maybe Pinson gets that 3rd role.

That should free him up to post up more IMO

Fast break frenzy

Kai is going to play well off the ball. He also allowed the offense to breathe tonight by letting others touch thr ball early in possessions. I'm sire he will gradually get more aggressive but it's a good sign that he deferred to Josh and Pinson at times to initiate. He shakes free from defenders with ease to get open off the ball and we haven't had that at this level since...JKidd? Monta?

It will take adjustment, and Luka needs to understand that this isn?t the same team before the trade that needed him to dominate every possession. Hope we figure it out quickly.
