Who would we want to play in the playoffs 1st round? Obviously not the Laker, but who do we match up best against from the Jazz, Blazers, Kings and Spurs??? And if we have to lose our last few games to avoid the Lakers, should we do it or not???

we match up well with the Jazz, IMHO, but we need to avoid the Spurs...If that means falling to #7, so be it, be stay away from those damn spurs!

any playoff matchup is going to be hard, we won't have the homecourt advantage - right now the western conference leaders are so close Conference Standings - as you can see, 1.5 games separate Sacremento at #5 and Utah at #1.

I'll be happy to get in the playoffs, and are odds are looking prety good right now (knock on wood), we're up by 5 games over Houston at 9th.

I don't want to play any of those teams . If I had to pick 1, I'd say the Jazz.

It would be a dream come true to sweep the Lakers in the FIRST round

I would honestly like to see a matchup againts the Jazz. Of course, an all Texas 1st round with San Antonio would be fun. I think now with the chemistry developed with the new guys we got, I can see us beating the Spurs in the first round.

I think the Spurs are going to win it all this year..so I REALLY don't want to face them in the first round!

We absolutely should stay away from the Spurs... I would actually be pleased with a first round matchup against the Lakers...

I don't really care who the Mavs play in the playoffs, I just want them to at least win A game. Making the playoffs after a long drought is enough reward for one year. But if we got swept out of the first round of the playoffs, it would slightly ruin the Mavs accomplishments for this year.

We do match up better against Utah and Portland than LA or San Antonio.

I would love to take on the Lakers in the first round. We have a favorable matchup versus the Jazz. But other then that...Whomever we play will go 5. I think the Mavs will settle into the 5th seed, so whomever we get...we gonna give them H-E-L-L.

I think we would have the best chance against the Jazz. And since I really cannot stand Malone and Sloan, I would love to beat them WITH their home court advantage.

If we beat the Lakers in a playoff series I don't care about the next round or even the next year. I would die a happy man!!!!!
