don't worry about the roadtrip from hell yet, worry about the 4 games left on the homestand. It's going to be called "The back half of a homestand from hell"

Yeah, lets get this home stand done first. It gets really tough after tonight's game.

I was worried about the upcoming games, but the way the Mavs are playing right now, I think they will be allright. I think 52 wins is attainable. 12-7 the rest of the way against the best...should be fun.

As I have posted mumerous times before, the hardcore schedule the Mavs have will be a blessing in disquise. We don't lack anything in talent and ability. (we have 4 possible all-stars in the starting line-up) What we do lack is experience - the e-factor. Having a hard run to the playoffs with many games against the other playoff contenders is perfect preperation for the mental stamina needed come post-season. Each of these final 19 games will be like a playoff game in intensity with the playoff race so tight. Mav's should take 11-12 wins to give them 50+ and a 4, 5 or 6 playoff birth.

It's like my old wrestling coach (Coach Fagan) used to say, if it doesn't kill you , it makes you stronger... Hopefully playing 15 of 19 teams who have records of over .500% will strengthen us for the playoffs without keeping us out of them...
