Yea I don't really get the push for Bibby from the Cavs when they have Lebron on their team. Do they want to get the ball out of his hands and have a traditional point guard or did they want Bibby's outside shooting? Hawks did give up a lot to get Bibby though. I don't think the Cavs could've matched that without giving up Boobie and Pavlovic in a package.

I dont think they gave up much because I dont think he is part of their future plans. I think they got rid of some pieces that thye couldnt fit into their team...they will probably end up saving money

Sheldon Williams, , Lorenzon Wright,Tyronn Lue, Anthony Johnson and a second round pick for Bibby.

Seems to be a good move for both teams.
The Hawks have a good young team with some good athletes. Josh Smith has been playing great lately. Al Horford is a good option now. The better he gets the better this team gets. Mike Bibby is not a pure point guard but if he can make smart decisions he should be ok. The Kings have fell off the map. They are in need of a new Identity and they think freeing up money and getting another Draft Pick will do the job.

Bibby
Joe Johnson
Williams
Smith
Horford
A good starting five. No depth a the 4 spot. Forced to go small alot.

yes because i dont think the hawks gave anything of value. unless williams can become a stud, which it doesnt look like at the moment.

It's win-win, because the Hawks got rid of some trash, and the Kings are freeing up more minutes for the kids.

Plus, the Hawks get MAD salary relief if they let Bibby walk...
