Dirk is very hot headed these days, I wonder if he's pissed with RC or teamates?

It was a great win streak. This just gives us a chance to start a new one.

Well he should prolly check himself then because I dont see a reason for him to be pissed with anything. He needs to play

dirks offense or rebounding was ok ( he didnt get normal calls.. should have easily had 6-8 more free throws) - his D was bad though. but that is mostly because he is no 5... we have 2 legit centers... why dont we effin play them?

All teams lose.
Not all teams get a 13-game winning streak. I'm not angry at all.
But I will admit we could have played much better.

Dirk is pissed that RC refused to play our centers----he doesn't want to play the 5, so he plays like he doesn't give a flying shit!!!!

Just try not to worry about it. This loss should make them angry and spark them to finish the season on a strong note.

Allowing 128 points is embarrassing. Elite teams just shouldn't allow that to happen on their home court. At some point pride come into play. Knock one of these guys on there asses.. let them know that they can't get to the rim as if it's a layup drill.
This game was a couple months worth of suck.

Well, hopefully this will serve as a wake up call for RC and the Mavs. They have got to cut it with this small ball against lengthy, athletic teams.

i was hoping that getting into an 18 point hole against the nets would have done that.... or 10 at hallf time to the knicks.... i hope rc kicks their asses hard in practice in the next 3 days.

I won't forget this game. Fricken bastards. 40 points to the Knicks????? What happened to all those who argued that the Mavs win close games because blowouts shrink in the last couple minutes of garbage time. They only shrink when the losers have an ounce of pride. If there's none of that, then the blowout goes from 30 to 40 in a minute or two.

I say we have a coaching problem. We needed Haywood to serve as at least a modicum of an enforcer around the rim.

Dirk should've took the game off. A perfect time to have a week off and be fresh for the final stretch of the season.

Dirk had enough rest by not playing for his national team. I believe any talk about resting players is nonsense unless you are blowing the other team out by 15.

My god guys, this team has won 13 out of 14 and now suddenly people are jumping off the cliff. Tap the breaks a bit.

All I will say is... you dont see Phil Jackson putting Odom out there at center with healthy bigs and the team having the height advantage...

I disagree. He looks tired. But maybe these next 3 days off will help.

Seriously, you are such a joke. Dirk is the only one who showed up tonight. 20/12/3/3 blocks and got to the line 10 times. Where's the ignore button again?

He shot 10 fts. Ten. I really just shake my head in amazement at some of you people. No disrespect, I really don't mean to sound condescending, but if you don't know much about something, you probably shouldn't speak of it as though you do. I don't know shit about curling. That's why I don't talk about it.

Come on now Cadbane, we all saw how Dirk played last night. Yes, he was able to score but it really didn't look like Dirk was giving it his all. He seemed pissed and disinterested to me. However, you are entitled to your opinion though and if you think Dirk was giving it his all then I won't challenge your opinion.

I don't know anything about these Mavs? haha, Putting up stats doesn't mean he had a good game. Dirk looked out of it, he was frustrated and playing lazy. Dirk will put up those numbers on any given night, it's just the way he gets them. I get irritated when i see Dirk settling for jumpshots in situations when he should drive, barking at the ref and even not being apart of the offense at all and so forth. If things aren't going your way, do something about it. When Dirk has a bad night, I'll call him out for it. I wont stay polishing his balls (not mentioning any names here) lying to myself saying he did great by putting up above normal stats for a regular NBA player. Dirk is the leader of this team and he should be the first one to set the tone if things arent right.

Dirk is just pissed. As he should be. I also think the team can sublimely send a message to a coaching staff. Last night was one of the first where I really did not understand what RC was attempting to do. I know the knicks had a quick run to start the third, but there's another center on the bench over there if you don't like wood. And if somehow the reason they made the quick run was because they were playing small, well you'd better find a way to deal with it or it will keep happening.

Bam.
Lazy defense, lack of interest in doing what it took and digging as deep as he had to to get the W. Not just Dirk, everyone... but DIRK included! You can't just throw up a stat line and ignore his play.
