Honestly, if its the other way around, Cuban probably does the same thing. Jordan is the cack sucker here. Doesnt take away my infinite hate for that organization, and Im sure Cuban cant really say how he feels about Ballmer and his pack of goons.

Jordan had 2nd thoughts and the Clippers pounced. Nothing wrong with that. Is Jordan a man of his word, hell no.
Do we expect Cuban to be an asshole about this, no, he had his chance in Houston, he could have barged over to Jordan's house that night, but he didn't. He went about his business with dignity and class. The problem is between Jordan and Cuban, not Ballmer and Cuban. Jordan has yet to talk with Cuban in person.

Any other owner in Ballmer's position would have done the same thing. Hell, they'd be stupid not to. Jordan is the villain here.

Cuban knows inside he would have done the same thing so no sense crying over spilled milk.
Cuban, Donnie and even Parsons should have done their homework better and figured out he was a screwball during the vetting process when they were courting him.
Just be glad as a fan that we didn't get him.
He's perfect for what the Clips need but would have put us into perpetual mediocrity here and we probably would have still had a 7th seed ceiling this season with him.

Uh no, our future would look much better with him. The guy is easily worth the max he would have got from the mavs with rising cap, he would have made us more attractive to free agents, and our ceiling with him for 1 year would be limited? Yes, just like it is without him, but our ceiling with him going forward would have been much higher. He's easily worth a 20 million dollar salary in a 90 million dollar capped league.

What good is drawing free agents if the guy has no faith in himself as a franchise player? Our ceiling would be as high as he could take us and his actions are not the actions of a franchise player. I have no doubt after what he did in the off season that his FT' issues are in large part mental. He could sit in a gym all day every day till he shot a respectable % and I think he would come up small in big moments or more accurately, avoid the big moment at all costs all together. Is he worth the max? Yes. That means nothing since almost every good player right now is a max player with the cap going up.

What he does off the court and what he does on the court are 2 completely different things. Even with his awful free throw shooting, Deandre Jordan is a extremely good NBA player, to suggest other wise is simply silly, he is a vastly underrated offensive player that people pay way too much attention to his free throw shooting.
And the bolded thing is quite simply a crock of shit, he is one of the top 30ish players or so in the NBA by advanced numbers and 26, he is worth a 20 million dollar a year salary over next 4 years, not many players are. Tyson Chandler who is good too, is not worth a max salary.

With him not being the player that we expected and no PG or no true star, how would we break the 6th spot?
GSW, SA, OKC, Mem, and Houston would all still be better than us.
So we'd go from a 7th seed ceiling to a 6th seed ceiling with him.
Again, perpetual mediocrity.
My disappointment on him would be similar to hearing Parsons say that he just wants to be a role player. I thought the dude wanted to take it to the next level but obviously he wants to be a 5th option follower and be told every move to make.
Clips can keep him and we can rebuild after Dirk retires.
If we want an athletic 7ft head case then we might as well sign someone a hell of a lot cheaper like McGee.

Javale McGee is an awful nba player, Deandre Jordan is an extremely good NBA player, there is no evidence that he is a headcase. Just cause he changed his mind doesn't make him a headcase.
With Deandre we are roughly a 48 win team, not a contender but with a ton of cap space next year. Without him and with these zaza/deron rebounds we are roughly a 43-45 win team, huge difference. Our future is much brighter with him, to say otherwise is shit.
