GDT: Mavs (2-6) at Knicks (3-6) 6:30pm FSSW, MSG
Mavs look for their third win against a floundering Knicks squad.

Let's be amazed by witnessing how Barnelo stops Melo tonight, but that's not all... Rose as always will be out of control in the worst possible way, so Wes will have an easy time defending him, and Porkyzingz will be outscored and outrebounded by Mejringis... a close game just because of the extended break for the Mavs and until the Niks get tired in the 4th...
Mavs - 105
Niks - 99

Keep Starks and Ewing in check to have a chance.

Something about the Mavs tells me a struggling team like the Knicks will have their game of the week tonight. Melo, Porzingis, Rose all have good nights...but Mavs will still be in it at the end. This will be a battle for both teams. I doubt Dirk plays...save him for friday

Wasn't it Jennings who was talking smack about Barnes because he didn't get any playing time on Team USA this summer?

Jennings is a scrub (yes that was him). Hope HB christens him with a nice HB2.0 dunk. The knicks are one of the few squads we might be more athletic than. I fully expect a W (which you could make a case for actually being an L).

More athletic? I dont think the Mavs are more athletic than almost all teams in the nba. Younger sure. Jennings is a scrub but those kinds of guys have career nights v Mavs. Hopefully our 3 pt defense is on point tonight.
Spread is Knicks -3.5 for a reason. Lets prove vegas wrong

@EarlKSneed: Dirk Nowitzki is out tonight in New York, but he could return Wednesday in Boston with the way he looked in warmups. #DALatNYK

Win tonight gets the team 2 back to .500, which sounds like a good plan to play more aggressives for a win streak.

The Mavs actually need that energy Anderson brings. Now if it can get coordinated better.

Barnes got robbed of a few ft's that half and missed 2 of the ones he did get but still had a great half offensively. His defense caused 3 straight stops there leading to the close of the half as well and overall was great on both melo and 3-6 latvia.

Barnes def looks like the better player out there and didn't get a few calls that he should have .

1-10 from 3
8 team assists
+4 in TO margin
-3 in rebounding
Curry had 4 points in 12 mins, the rest of the bench had 0 points in 24mins
How unwatchable would this team be without Barnes seriously.... Barnes 7-13 rest of Mavs 11-30.

...on the other hand, if Porkyngiz had not scored so easily, the Mavs would be ahead by 15...!
