It's like candy land, seriously. Man U just officially announced on their site they have accepted Madrid's bid for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now if we could only get Florentino Perez to think defense and bring Nemanja with Cristiano....... we would be so set. Have Pepe straighten out (which he seems like he will after that disgraceful game near the season's end) and pair up with Vidic at the back, and finally Casillas will have a defense worthy of his superman-like goalkeeping.

From the midfield on it'll all take care of itself with the real Diarra coming back, and hopefully we don't get rid of Ruud, move Raul to the bench (I know, pipe dream), and we're all set.

I still don't know what to do with Higuain...... he has certainly shown to be worthy of a first team, but would be such a luxury to bring off the bench.

We have a good problem: so many good players, not enough spots on the roster. I think we can get away with rotating Van der Vaart, Sneijder and Robben somewhere up front, as one or two of them are always injured.......

I don't know what the exact salaries are. I have had a look and couldn't find anything concrete.

BTW. Looks like David Villa is also coming to Real, for a bargain of around 50-60 million dollars.

As you know, a lot of that money goes towards penalties for breaking a contract early. The actual salaries seem to not be so well known.

But that is correct. Well, not completely. This looks like a fantasy team. And yes, I hope we keep Ruud as he is one of my faves too.

I haven't learned about the Villa deal, up until now.

And just for the record, I'm kinda pissed that Real keeps changing Managers each and every time they don't get a succesful season. I kinda liked Schuster and I know he stepped down on his own account. I mean, Schuster, Ramos and Pellegrini since Dec 08? Bummer

Tough cookie, this Egypt team huh? Took a goal at 85+ minutes from (a correctly spotted) penalty to beat them. Next up is World Champions Italy vs. USA. Hopefully I can have lunch at the time and watch it.

I too thought that was a game he would excel in. At least get and convert a couple of fouls near the box.
