According to the article they're only guaranteeing $250K. Nellie's probably thinking he made Morrow, Watson and Azubuike he can make Lin.

Obviously a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of things, but any guaranteed money at all based on SL alone without going through training camp seems awfully aggressive to me, and might be close to unprecedented.
