away-home B2Bs can be tough
Can't fail utterly against every .500+ team and expect to do much.

Toughest game to win in the NBA is on the road against an elite team. Mavs went toe to toe against Giannis having a 40 point game. This could not have happened a year ago.

Unfortunately. a lot of teams lose the first game at home after a tough road trip. Having it come in a B2B makes it even harder.

Kings have won 5 straight, but like Dallas, they haven't beaten any really good teams. Ther losses are 2 each to Golden State, who is 6-8, and Houston. They have yet to play anyone as good as Denver or the Bucks.

Mavs need to be good enough to beat mediocre teams at home consistently. That's what good teams do. So how good are they?

I still dont know why Holmes doesnt get to fn play. If hes not playing with trash maxi out, then he definitely wont play when hes back. Might as well get rid of him. Such a waste of a fairly useful player.

I dont want to give up on Hardy, but we need a 4 or back up 5 who is a guaranteed lock to play. So idk what any combo of Green, Hardy, holmes and Maxi gets you but, if we can get a quality starting 4 or a solid back up big then Im now open to it. I still think Hardy is a starter in this league with all-star potential.

This team will never be a good inside defensive team or rebounding team as long as they continue to make Powell a key rotation player

They have like 8 years of data that shows he's a liability and yet because he hustles and everyone loves him in the locker room he'll always get minutes

He should this teams version of Udonis Haslem

Thing is, it doesn't matter how much we score. We're on pace for 124 points. We don't need Luka to score.

We need to not allow the Kings to be on pace for 142pts shooting 57% from the field and over 47% from three.

Defense is so so so busted.

Yeah that?s what I mean. We needed heroic nights from Luka just to have a chance last year because they couldn?t stop anyone defensively.

1. Holmes isn't worthy of minutes? Who the hell is he not better than aside from Lively?

2. Luka is such an embarrasing defender. How can you have such a hign IQ on offense but the exact opposite on defense. Hes trash. His effort is hard to watch. James Harden is probably a better defender.

3. Kidd is the goat. Great player, eincredible coach!

Please make a fn trade. I wouldnt care who it is. Guys like Luka or Irving would bring in a haul. Some Combo of Thj, green, hardy, maxi, DP could bring more consistent asset, idk what else we would have to kick in if Portland wanted to move.him.
