Well we got this and we officially got the Southwest Division Title this year.
this is the type of win the Spurs got in April without Duncan in 2005.

Ball game.
Good game tonight from Stack, Diop, and Damp especially.
Where did Josh Howard go though?

Nice win mavs, no Dirk, poor officiating, some lackluster play, yet a win is in the bag with the magic number to nail down the conference now sitting at 3. NOT BAD!!

well - winning against a team that lost 11 of 13 isnt really all that special - doubt you can say that our D is back with that one. But a W is a W so ill take it. now 2 days rest for the first time in almost a month - should do some good. dirk gets some rest (if you can call throwing up with food poisoning rest :-P)

Um, beating the Kings without Dirk, while using backups George & Buckner for most of the game IS pretty special - it proves something to the team, if not to the fans... We could have lost this game & Avery still would have been pleased with some of the things that happened on the floor... Afterall, the bench needs to be primed for the playoffs - I think AJ is trying some new looks to prep this team for a run...

I dunno - workaholics don't bounce back from too much rest... Hell, I bet Avery poisoned Dirk's food just to keep him out of that Kings game!

I think Dirk should rest also. I want to see Stackhouse and Terry take greater leadership roles while Dirk is out so that they are ready for the playoffs. Last night you could just see it. Stack and Terry were glad to have the burden on them in the 4th and it's also going to help the other players realize that they can handle that.
