MAVS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ugly basketball for 3 quarters and thank goodness, they really played with a lot of heart in the 4th. A couple of weeks ago, they would have thrown in the towel. Nice to see them fight back and never give up.

And this was another game in which the Mavs got to the line more than their opponent. It has been a trend in the last 5 games.

Dallas
1)didn't have a turnover problem
2)didn't commit shooting fouls, limited Pacer free throws. statistically won the game from the free throw advantage
3)dramatically improved the second half rebounding and dramatically cut the Pacer rebounds advantage down compared to the first 2.5 quarters.
4)played with heart
Note Dampier and Diop combined for 12 rebounds, 13 points and only committed 3 fouls total. Bass added 5 boards and 6 points with no fouls which is impressive because he usually has at least 2 offensive fouls...
Dallas is playing much more sound basic basketball in the now five game winning streak. We have a hell of a coach.

GO MAVS!!!! gotta love this comeback, i had basically given up on this one but wow Jet and Kidd came through big in the end. 5 in a row and 3 without J-Ho we are definitely improving. Funniest thing all night was as we put the game away to see Stack in his suit not even clapping as everyone else was going nuts.

Wow I forgot what a 4th quarter comeback feels like I should have gotten tickets to that game but I didn't think it would be as intense well I was wrong. Kidd made me wet.

Jthig starts every gameday thread for the rest of year. It should be a man law on this board.

Damn, I had thought the Pacers can't miss at all. Their stock of long armed athletic swingmen are dangerous..
Many thanks to:
- Terry: player of the game. Carried the Mavs and made big shots down the stretch without hesitation
- Kidd: those 2 threes are a lifesaver. The pass to Wright is your daily "Kidd-is-good clip".
- Wright: stepped up, drove the rim often. Drive, Antoine, don't shoot threes no more!
- Dampier: Will go underappreciated again, but made hustle plays including drawing an important offensive foul on Granger.
- Dirk: yada yada yada, did the heavy load that we take for granted
Also, Diop had a memorable block and actually hit two free throws in a row!
Hey Devean George, if you're "ready for that starting spot", you have to work harder to wrangle it from Wright!

You're saying Jthig is the reason Terry killed that 15 footer to tie the game at 99-99?

Ford on the bench was great. He had that look on his face like "REALLY? REALLY, coach? this is what you want to do?"

Be like Scottie and have a "migraine" and make someone else start the thread.
(Btw, your sig is mismerizing. I love that pic where he has the ball and is screaming....)

So I haved a question about the play where Murphy got dirk up in the air but then jumped sideways into him and made the shot. Since when can a shooter jump sideways into the defender?

^ Yeah, I thought that was a lame call. It should've been offensive if anything or just let it go.
Didn't Kidd get called for traveling when he tried to do that a few games ago.
