Würzdirk
Dirks Presser starts tomorrow at 12:45 pm CEST. The Party is scheduled for 5 pm CEST.
You can watch it here, but a German, Swiss, Austrian ip is probably needed.

I´ll try to record it online, but the problem is that is only will be recorded, when there is a certain demand.

You are on a board that is dedicated to Dirk's greatness. Of course there will be a demand.
Please upload using fileserve. I have a premium membership at that site.

Hm, no, i meant that those TV-shows are only recorded by the operator when there is a certain demand, so i´m not 100% sure if i can download, cut and up the videos.

I'm sure there will be plenty of videos on youtube. There are several vids from Wurzburg when they were having watch parties for Game 6 and the ensuing celebration. So they will have recordings of this.

I hope I'll got you covered. Will record the webstream on the fly. Conversion shouldn't take too long. Video and english transcription should be up an hour after the presser.

Hard to find Mavs jerseys in the crowd inside the Arena. All about Dirk in Germany.

It's funny that the interviewer's mention of JJB was the one reference to another Mavs player that got a round of applause from the crowd.

Dirk on comparison with Jordan's fever game: "Have you watched both games? He dropped 42 and I was pretty bad."

It's so strange to listen to Dirk in German for an extended period of time.
Even though I'm German and I love the Olympics, I'm torn whether I want him to play for the national team again or not. He is 33 now and at a point where he needs all the rest he can get during the summer.

Basically no news as far as Dirk playing in Lithuania is concerned. He'd like to play, but he's aware of the physical stress that comes with it. It'll probably take another 3-4 weeks until he makes a decision.

45 minutes of basketball talk with Frank Buschmann and the first question out of the media members is about his girlfriend ...

The reporter asked Dirk about his girlfriend, Dirk responded »are you writing for Neue Revue?« Reporter said »no, for Bunte«, Dirk replied »now, that's even worse«.

He poked a little fun at the guy because he is working for a tabloid and we all know how much Dirk "enjoys" sharing information of his private life.

It's nice that they have some kids out there at the press conference asking questions as well.
One kid asked: "Do you have a shooting technique?"
And another kid just asked: "Why do you always stick out your tongue while shooting?" Dirk responded that his mother has actually asked him to please stop it...

Dirk just said that the reason for picking #14 early in his career was because of Charles Barkley. There's some mutual respect between the two.

This whole thing has a wonderful vibe. First the kids, and now they bring a disabled man to the stage to get some autographs from Dirk. He wants Dirk to sign a soccer ball and Dirk immediately grabs it to show off his soccer skills. Fun to watch.

...and even a bank manager (from ING-DiBa, the one that Dirk has some type of endorsement deal with) comes across as likeable by donating €100,000 to Dirk's charitable foundation.

I really liked to watch that. Coming out there together with Dirk's sister and giving her the check.
