Becky Hammon Going To The Spurs
Becky Hammon is going to be the first female to get a coaching job in the NBA by the San Antonio Spurs. This is great news for the NBA. It's about time the NBA show more gender diversity. This is a great new step in the right direction for the league.

Nancy Lieberman was the head coach of the Texas Legends from 2009-2011, but I guess the D-League doesn't hold as much weight...

I love this. As cliche as it is to say, because it's the Spurs I trust that the decision is being made for the right (basketball) reasons. If it was any other team, I might question the motivation behind such a move, but since it's San Antonio I trust that they're making the right decision. Anxious to see how she does!
