This year the Lakers needed 7 Games and some refree and David Stern's help to beat the Kings. I think Kidd can take care of Kobe, but Shaq is another thing. If Shaq has a bad series and the refs dont suck up to the Lakers, the Nets can win it all.

I'm afraid this series was decided long ago.

i don't buy the conspiracy theories at all.. i thought the lakers were actually on the short end of the stick in a couple of games when it came to calls from the refs

i thought the lakers were decisively on the short end of the stick in game 5 when it came to receiving calls... yes, i thought game 6 in the 4th quarter was pathetic.. but i also thought the officials were bad in game 5

It's not the calls per se. It's the inconsistency of the calls. One night Shaq could literally bulldoze his way through the paint, no call at all. Another night dfo the same thing and it was an offensive foul. The next night it was a defensive foul.

What ya call on one end should be called on the other end. And it never was like that the entire series.

WOW- i am agreeing with Murphy again..YES- the Lakers actually had some games called against them in that series, but for whatever reason, everyone is just talking about game 6. Yes- Sac got screwed on calls in that game, but the series as a whole was called close to even...JMHO

look at the fouls and the free throw attempts, and they were pretty close for the series..
i thought game six was obviously called in favor of the kings...however, i don't think it was intentionally in favor of the kings..

however, i think that game 5 was obviously in favor of the kings..
the officiating sucked..they screwed both teams quite a bit... all in all, it came out pretty even

the kings have no one to blame but themself
