Little Miss Sunshine
I really enjoyed this movie. I had no clue what it was about before seeing it. Its not a run of the mill kind of flick which is very good. The Angelika is playing it if you can't find it online.

I posted about this in the DVD thread. I considered it to be one of the best movies I have seen in theaters in a long time. Probably the best since Brokeback Mountain. It is definitely the best film of 2006 so far.

I'm going to pretend that was a typo and that you meant to say "True Grit."

in thinking more about the movie, i have one gripe.
SLIGHT SPOILERS BELOW
the scene at the gas station, between frank and his grad student, really bothered me. it seemed waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too coincidental that they would meet like that, even for a movie.
SLIGHT SPOILERS OVER

I just saw this movie, and it is one of the best movies I have ever watched. It actually cracked my top 10, which is no easy task. I think it might have pushed American Pie out of the 10 spot while falling at #7, (joke about AP).
In all seriousness, terrific film. Best I have seen in quite some time.
