Ariza and Stephenson? Near impossible now that Hayward and Parsons got 15M.
I would think these + Deng will get 11M+ per and even Pierce could get his wish of 9-10M. Crazy.

The ban hammer will be in full effect as Rockette fans troll our board thru Sunday.
They are more annoying than Heat bandwagoners, especially now that they've become Cavs bandwagoners.

If Rockets match the Mavericks offer, Dallas better look at Luol Deng, Trevor Ariza and Lance Stephenson quick. I heard the Suns are really trying to get Luol Deng

If Houston matches they don't have need of an ariza,Deng. Miami definitely does and IMO,will get first pick.

It cannot be a s&t. You can't s&t a 5-year max contract.

Really hope Mavs fans keep it classy. Nothing more classless than trolling the forums of other teams. Let Houston fans be as classless as Heat fans.

Worse are the Mavs fans jumping the gun talking crap about the FO. Anything slightly negative happens and it BOOM, smack talk time.

This..... pretty much what I was like ???? about for the past two hours. It's a win win until peoples "ideal" situation goes sideways and they have to resort to the 2nd best option. Just silly. Think about the 26+ other teams we have clearly been superior to consistently for the last 15 years.

Some of us are not jumping anywhere, we are steady as a rock.
For the record I like the parsons, monta moves a lot. ( monta less so, undersized). But at least it is picking up longer term assetts. Now if we actually had a player or toe who didn't completely stink on rookie contracts you have the makings of a plan.

There may come a time to trash talk them, but it is not here yet.
Exhibit A: Monte Ellis for 8 million. Perhaps the best free agent bargain of 2013.

Seriously? I didn't just now start getting negative about the Mavs front office. I think they screwed the pooch after the championship and I think they've been screwing it pretty consistently since. Yes, they've improved, but I don't know that they can recover to not completely waste Dirk's final years as they have since the championship. The Mavs can't draft. They've obviously misjudged the impact that the new CBA would have on free agency. Cuban couldn't even tear himself away from Shark Tank long enough to visit with a free agent that he felt was key.

And my criticism of jumping the gun wouldn't involve you then now would it?
No doubt the Mavs misread the new CBA, and unbelievably so. Cuban just shouldn't have made predictions period, but he had to justify not bring back the championship team at the time. It was a tough choice to make, and he made it.
But he also appeased the many Chandler fans by bringing him back. At least an owner can admit to a mistake by doing something like that. I understood at the time why he did it, and I understand why he brings him back now. The game of thrones NBA style isn't an easy one to play. Not when you're in the toughest division in the league.

As I understand it, Cuban didn't want Deron. Donnie and/or Rick did. Cuban's staying at Shark Tank was subterfuge. Notice how he's been there in person for the two big FA meetings since.

OMG the offseason is funny as hell. After Lebrons decision they thought they have Bosh in the bags....epic rofl. Now i still see Morey matching just not to look like a giant loser of the offseason

So is this a case of bosh reneging on an actual promise? I must admit the rockettes are clearing out a lot of room just on the hope of bosh, ( very Mavs like )
