I have to say im a huge Javale McGee fan. He is by far the most entertaining player in the league. F lebron, Kobe or Dirks boring one leggy fadeaway.
Todays Javale McGee special:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIzDV...ature=youtu.be
Notice how he first ignore to pass it to Lawson and then stomp him into the ground and doesnt help him up.

I can't believe McGee got that huge contract this summer. He wouldn't get a minute under Carlisle because of his BBIQ.

About the lakers, it's not so much that they. Hose offense over defense, they chose experience and star power over athletecism in a league that is increasingly ruled by athletecism

I think that this is just great for the league. If it keeps up (fingers crossed), then it is big blow to the idea of organizing super teams. When you get Nash, Kobe, and Howard on the same team, then a big target is painted right on your back. Dwight and Kobe are playing at a high level, but coach just doesn't hold the team accountable on defense. We all know Nash won't fix that problem. It seems like they'll have to win games scoring 115+ every game or not at all.

The Nets have also lost 5 in a row... it's been a tough year for superteams so far!

Additional the Lakers played allready 13 at home and just 8 on the road.
Boy, would be so fun to see on a #6-8 seed and getting demolished in the 1st round

Kidd... wow. Unbelievable year for the 40 year old so far. I wish Dirk didn't tell him to go to NY.

I saw that Lakers loss coming from a mile away. They suck right now, and they know it. They just don't play good defense. Can't believe they lost with the Cavs shooting 57% from the ft line. Terrible.

Lakers schedule until january 11th:
@Knicks
@Wiz (b2b)
@Sixers
Bobcats
@GS
Knicks
@Nuggets (b2b)
Blazers
Sixers
@Clippers
Nuggets
@Rockets
@Spurs (b2b)
Thunder
They should be happy to go 7-7 over this stretch, means at almost half of the season they would be still below 0.500

The New York Mavericks... er... i mean... Knicks just scored 41 points in the 1st quarter. I love watching The Real Housewives of LA!! Go Chandler! Go Kidd!

Other than the Knicks' two stars, I kinda like the Knicks. Chandler is still a Mavericks hero and Kidd will always be a Mav even if he is a headcase.
And beating the Lakers and Heat always endear me to a team.
P.S. Chandler with 0 rebounds-- best center evar. Wright with 4reb in 17min and "worst centar evar"

Box score coach
"Defining moment: Los Angeles had managed to whittle a 26-point Knick lead down to a mere 6 with 1:27 remaining, but after Raymond Felton missed two straight off-balance jumpers, Tyson Chandler dominated the offensive glass with two consecutive trademark backtaps to allow New York to control the ball for a game-sealing 1:09 of play.

Trollinger to the Grizz. As much as we dislike him, that's a solid move for their FO.

Josh Howard with a torn ACL and season ending surgery. I think he is pretty much done. He really fell fast off the cliff. The amazing fact is that he is just two years younger than Dirk.

Lakers 118 - Golden State 115 (OT game)
Kobe with 16 of 41 - geez louise has Dirk ever taken 41 shots?
41 shot attempts in under 44 minutes of action
TOP 5 players in shot attempts this season
1. Kobe 580
2. Westbrook 477
3. Monta Ellis 467
4. Stephen Curry 460
5. KD 449
also of note in this game - Dantoni chose to play Nash 41 min. in his first game back from a leg injury.

Can't believe D'Antoni played Nash that much. But hey, they need wins and struggle to get them.

I just watched Nash and Kidd guarding each other in crunch time for two very highly regarded teams in a top-bill game on X-mas. And then I realized that our point guards are Darren Collison and Dominique Jones. How did this happen.

Damn I have to laugh to keep from crying. Cubes obviously learned the value of a point guard when he let nashie go for nothing and suffered for years from it.
Maybe he will learn the same value of a center after he's let Ty go and suffered for years for it.

To be fair the Mavs won 60+ twice and made the Finals after Nash left and before Kidd came.

Did anyone else see the officiating travesty that was the last 10 or so minutes of the Heat-Thunder? Heat got ALL the calls including an especially egregious offensive charge called against Westbrook as an obviously still moving Ray Allen slid under him. Another highlight was Ray Allen flopping like a mofo on a Kendrick Perkins screen and getting the call.
Then on the final play of the game with OKC down 3 Diva Wade appeared to hit Westbrook on the follow thru of his 3point attempt. No call. The strangest part
about it was ABC only showed the replay once from the same lame angle we saw it from in real time. Ray Allen went to shoot the tech and in all that time thats the best replay of a disputed play they could come up with?
Didnt they have like a thousand cameras at the marquee Xmas matchup?
Shoddy officiating and production work from ABC.

The Ray Allen bullshit was the worst, to me. He couldn't remember which shoulder was supposed to be hurt. WEAK.
I'll actually give the refs the benefit of the doubt on the Westbrook charge, as Westbrook himself decided to change lines on his way down the court. I mean...a defender has to stand *somewhere*, you know? The offensive guy can't just aim at him and collide. (I'd have probably opted for no call, though.)
No opinion on the last shot foul or no foul. It would have to be pretty egregious to earn a call in that situation.

Thunder over the Rockets 12/29/12
Line of the Night: Russell Westbrook 28 pts, 8 rebs, 8 asts, 3 stls, 11-22 FG, 4-5 FT
I think he is the most athletic player in the game today.
