2013 NBA Playoffs
Hope the Clippers go out early to Memphis.
Heat will sweep Milwaukee.
Lakers/Spurs should be entertaining.

I'm adopting the Knicks as my team to cheer for. They have the best (slim) shot of preventing the Heat from making the Finals and of course sport Tyson and Kidd.

Same here. In the West I'll go with the the underdogs except Fakers I think. Kinda like the Nuggets though, bc they are an atypical build without a true superstar.

F the Knicks. I'll be pulling for JET to make some noise, though my pick is OKC over Miami in the finals.

Corey Brewer carrying Denver in the third quarter.
God dammit.

Don't get me wrong. If I could go back in time and somehow undo the Odom trade - which I believe would have meant keeping Corey - I absolutely would. But those flurries of long jumpers aren't representative of what Brewer typically provides.

Letting Brewer go was a big mistake. Can't just trade young lotto picks away for cap reasons.
Hope we can keep Wright next year for the same reason.

Same with Beldsoe.
And I surely hope the Lakers get swept.

LeBron currently with 21 points on 7/8 shooting... zero shots taken outside of the restricted area. 9 rebounds. 7 assists. Sick.

Yeah, those 7th and 8th seeds in the west were destined to get their asses kicked...
Houston just didn't even show up. Awful.

Would anyone here want the 2012-2013 Mavs to face these Thunder?

Nope... But being a playoff team certainly wouldn't have hurt our chances in free agency this summer.

Jack with another solid game. Curry is a beast. I think the Knicks have a real shot at knocking off the Heat. Not sure the Heat could beat OKC this year in a 7-gamer, anyway. Should be a good playoffs after this terrible first round.

The only interesting thing about this playoffs is who will represent the West against the Heat and that depresses me. I predict Spurs over Thunder, but even that makes me yawn.

You don't think the Knicks present any challenge to Heat in a series? Heck, I even think Indiana has a shot as challenging the Heat. It's too bad Indiana and New York are on track to wear each other down before they have to face the Heat. Brooklyn and/or Chicago will most like get swept or beat 4-1 by Miami.
Also, I wouldn't count out the Clippers or a team like Golden State or Denver, whoever wins that series.

Those Georges can sure play...
I just think the Knicks have better quality depth. Their next series (IND vs. NYK) should be a very good one. Melo vs. P. George. Hibbert vs. Chandler. I think it will come down to rebounding, in which IND would have a slight edge.

I don't believe anyone but the Spurs or Thunder have a chance to win even 3 games against the Heat.

I could definitely see the Knicks taking a couple of games from the Heat because they can get hot in a hurry, but I think Indiana could actually take Miami to the limit... only problem is that the Pacers' offense is really unreliable.

I personally think the Heat are overrated. Not that they aren't good, but that every analyst riding them has gotten a little annoying. I want a team to knock them off so bad...

Wow. Westbrook's having surgery for a meniscus tear.

End the playoffs and crown the Heat already so we can move into free agency...

If Stern wouldn't lose millions on it, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to do so. Spurs/Heat will be the next interesting series.

Suddenly the Rockets have a smidge of hope.
You think the Thunder would like to have Harden back right about now?

That's a big blow...I don't care much for Westbrook but you never want to see someone get injured, especially in the playoffs.

The sweetest thing about this offseason is watching the Lakers get their asses handed to them. 100 million dollars of fail.
