Amazing how well those young guards played for the Lakers. Too bad they still had to give 25 minutes to Chris Poohon.

Nets just lost in 3OT. I hope they flop out of the first round every year.

Clippers are also on the verge of elimination. If both LA teams fall, what our are chances of picking up CP3 and D12?

The LA/Mem series is tied 2-2.
I will say that Billups hasn't been much of a factor in this series, and I'm one of his biggest fans.

He definitely wasn't good in the first game and a half that he played (left game 2 early, was very limited in game 3) but he was matched up with Westbrook for a lot of that time. He doesn't have a prayer against the more athletic PGs.

I sincerely hope the Bulls will finish off Brooklyn as soon as possible. Their build, salaries, roster and talent, shouldn't be able to win anything.

Don't see any way Boston lasts past 5 games with no point guard capable of running their offense and no size outside of Garnett, but glad to see JET have a good showing in what will probably end up being their last home game of the season.

Agreed. If Smith had played today, then the series would be over.
Wow, Jennings mailing it in for Milwaukee. He just seems too predictable on offense and being small doesn't help.

Durant has that rip move down pat. The only time he uses it is when the other team is in the bonus. And he automatically gets free throws off of it. Such a crappy move to allow that play to continue.
OKC is going to have a hard time against the other teams because they don't have enough offense to beat SA/LA/Memphis.

Yup.. totally want Dwight..
Playoffs:
Can't believe I am going to say this, but I want Houston to advance simply because I cannot stand seeing Derek Fisher's ugly mug. F that guy.
The best part of that LA sweep was how quite the crowd was, SA shut those filthy LA fans up. Loved that game.
I hope NY can close out Boston in 5, I really think they match up better with Miami than any other team on the East. First time I'll ever be rooting for the Knicks, but I'd rather root for them than any team Dwayne Wade is on.

They are certainly about to kill the idea of building a team with no star.

Most of the reasons why we want certain teams knocked out of the playoffs are our personal vendetta against specific players/teams and ain't nuthin' goddamn wrong with that.

Agreed. Think i've said this before but I think it should be considered a "flop"
with accrued penalties for each infraction.

Will be happy to see Chris Paul and Blake Griffin(not to mention Odom)sent home in the first round.
Anyone else catch Chris Paul's cheap shot elbow in the back on Marc Gasol as he fell out of bounds with about 7 secs left in the game?! No foul called, nothing. Not to mention the intentional foul a few seconds earlier when he came down with both arms on Gasol(and again wasn't called for an intentional foul).
Great player. Don't understand why he has to constantly whine, flop and cheap shot his way through every game. Hope he retires w/out a ring.

Also Tayshaun Prince was clutch down the stretch last night. Drilled an 18ft. jumper with the shot clock running down(approx. 3:30 left). Timely dive cut to the basket for a leaner on a really nice assist from Zach Randolph soon after and then the dagger 3 top of the key that essentially sealed it. 3 clutch baskets in the last 3-4 minutes

Rockets playing Thunder tough. Leading by 18.
I hope the Celtics beat the Knicks. Knicks players wearing black for funeral was incredibly classless imo.

Oh man i'd almost forgotten- no one is allowed to breathe on Durant w/out being whistled for a foul. Watching it such a drag cuz he's such a good player. He doesnt need the refs assistance
p.s. also Fisher is a duplicitous, flopping toad

Hah, Thunder is fouling Asik intentionally.
edit: Rockets should intentionally foul Ibaka and turn this into a ft shooting contest. That would be hilarious as sh!t.

Great to see the Clippers get sent fishing last night. Where was all the showboating, taunting, screaming and dunks in the playoffs? They're such a gimmick team.

They really just aren't that good. The drop off in talent after Paul is pretty big imo. You can see that once Blake Griffin can't jump super high anymore that he'll be almost worthless. Such a risk to rely on him when any sort of leg, ankle or foot injury can have such an effect. DeAndre Jordan has 0 talent whatsoever outside of athleticism and some occasional blocks. Butler is getting up there in years and didn't have a great season. One kinda wonders how they won 56 games.

It makes those KIA commercials all the more funnier. Blake tells his younger self to "play that videogame"... and his younger self replies: all you do is dunk... and the older blake says: exactly.
Blake Griffin needs to quit trying to dunk on EVERYONE and start getting a refined game. He needs a go to move in the post. He needs to hit the mid range j. If he doesn't do that he will have a short career as an above average player.

Between CP3 and Dwight going out early and the Nets getting beat up by a vastly less talented team, I'd say the first-round went about as well for absent Mavs fans as it could have.
Well, except for the Spurs and Heat winning. But, you know.

Gotta take some bad with the good. I would've even tolerated Houston defeating the Thunder b/c of how much I dislike Fisher and Durant's apparently copyrighted rip move.

Huge! = Joakim Noah, Bulls:
He went 12-for-17 from the field for 24 pnts, 14 reb. and six blocks in a Game 7 win.
Small = Joe Johnson, Nets:
I know he is dealing with plantar fasciitis but wow! he 2-for-14 from the field for 6 points.
