Curry goes crazy in San Antonio.

edit: Bonner's reaction on the bench after Curry's last 3 was priceless.

Said since he came in the league that Curry is the best shooter I've ever seen. Sheesh, he's putting on a clinic against San Antonio.

SA with the come back, Green with a nice 3 to tie the game. OT is going to be so good. Curry is amazing.

GS falling apart once Bogut got back in the game.

And RJ with the epic choke.

Crazy game. Obviously, would have liked to see the Spurs lose, but it's not like they're losing the series to a Mark Jackson coached young Warriors team.

Hah fair enough! Either way, it's going to be a pretty good series between these two teams if every game is like this. Can't wait to see Pop's game plan and if Curry will go bananas again.

Pop is a pretty funny dude:

"Pop, could you explain the range of emotions you had in the final two Manu shots?"

"I went from... trading on the spot... to wanting to cook him breakfast tomorrow morning. I'll go talk to him later and he'll just say 'Dis is what I do.' I stopped coaching him a longgggg time ago."

Wow, second round looks to be quite tasty. Memphis and GS could really give their foes a run for their money. And bless you Chicago. Bless you.

re: Nate Robinson
line last night = Nate Robinson 27 pts, 9 asts, 8-16 FG, 9-10 FT
Barkley comment on Nate: Barkley: "If you know Nate he thinks he's better than Derrick Rose."

also note about Steph Curry : he has a league best 54 points n the reg season. A playoff best of 44 pts. He DIDN’T make the All-Star Game.

The Heat will probably come back and win 4 straight and go to the conf finals unceremoniously. But it sure was delicious watching them lose g1.

I've been rooting for the Knicks in this playoffs...

The Knicks aren't being coached correctly (imo)... They dont seem to understand that games are mostly decided in the last 6-7 minutes of the game...

IMO, they should be trying to mimic what Dallas did in 2011...

Kidd and Shumpert should be closing games defensively the way Kidd and Marion did, along with Chandler of course... That leaves Felton to play the role of JJ/JET... Which means Melo needs to do his best Dirk impersination... Melo would probably fall short of replicating the Dirkness of 2011, but I still contend this closing strategy would give them the best chance, especially against the Heat, whose best players are most defensible by Kidd and Shumpert...

Instead they have the mental midget JR Smith closing games, which should only happen when he's incredibly hot...

I think this year's Knicks team is kinda special, too bad they dont have a great coach like RC to get the most out of them...

Man it was soooooo great beating the "unbeatable, team of destiny" in the 2011 Finals! Such great memories!

We all knew the Bulls were not going to beat Miami in a 7 game series, but man was it sweet to hope they could.

Can someone please clear up the Derrick Rose situation for me? I thought he was suppose to be back for this playoff series or is he just taking time off to make sure everything is healed perfectly? Did he re-injure himself? What exactly is going on with the dude?

There has been a lot of debate over this for a while now, and really heated up in the past week or two. Basically, he has been cleared by doctors for 2 months now. However, he does not feel like he is ready to go play in an NBA game. Everyone is not sure whether it is mental or physical, but I'd lean towards the mental aspect of the injury, since he's been cleared. I think it is completely up to the player. Much has been debated as to the "selfishness" and whatnot of it all, but in the end, I think it's the player, the team, and his teammates who know best. And last I heard, they are all backing him 100%.

Here is the most recent debate I could find on the topic: http://espn.go.com/chicago/story/_/i...tential-return

Another take, if your the Bulls organization, I make him sit out the rest of the season. One, you get the 100% version of Derrick Rose next season with a healthy Deng/Noah/rest of your roster. Two, the chemistry would take a hit. Yes, Rose makes everyone better around him, but that takes time, especially with new faces to the team that haven't played with him. Smart choice is to sit this one out. A healthy Rose all season probably takes this series. A healthy Rose plugged in now, has no chance against the Heat. Just my opinion.

Feels terrible to either root for the fucking S**rs or GSW. I would prefer a sinkhole that swallows both.

MEM bench stepping up and Gasol is ridic.

I find great satisfaction that LA traded him, that they can look now with utter regret. Wonderful.

The Lakers won 2 championships because of that trade - I doubt they have any regrets.

But there is something about Marc's game that I just like better than Pau's.

Thunder shot just 31.1% with Gasol on the floor tonight. I know their offense just sucks without Westbrook on the floor, but man. That is impressive.
