Why does everyone think its a foregone conclusion? Bosh was offered that contract, why would he accept less now?

It's really only peanuts. We're talking about starting at 19.8M instead of 20.5M. Not the actual numbers, but it's in that neighborhood.

And isn't it still possible for Houston to move enough pieces to get him the full $20.5?

@KBergCBS: As the LeBron after-effects crank up, word among multiple team execs is No. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins will be in play in Kevin Love trade.
@ESPNSteinLine: Source close to situation says Kevin Love indeed "intrigued" by idea of being dealt to Cavs and would commit long there if traded there

@RealGM: Broussard: Cavs offer Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett, first round pick to Wolves for Kevin Love.

Move on? It's not like there aren't other guys on the market.

2 things on that ...
1) No way Bosh gets a max deal from anyone except the crappiest teams that have to spend their money one someone anyway.
2) I absolutely love the fact that Wade is going to hold Miami hostage with his $41 million contract ... and essentially force Lebron to leave.

Lebron is gone to Cleveland! Bosh is signing with Houston at 90 million and Houston matching Parsons offer just announced.

You realize everything you just said has been stated 20 times already. Redundancy mission complete.

Not that much better if they want to keep LeBron happy.
Also Love will most likely walk, so a deal that bad might be successful at the deadline. Minn would be stupid to accept something that low this early though.

I meant Wolves can do better. Celtics and GSW are still in play i'm sure. Maybe a few other teams. I would think Cleveland has to give Wiggins, either Bennett or Waiters or Thompson and a pick. Otherwise Danny Ainge is on line 2 offering 4 future first round picks.

Chris Broussard can confirm LeBron is going to Cleveland!
.....even after Sports Illustrated posted it.

I would not give up Wiggins for Love. Heat broke down because Wade couldn't pull his weight. Wiggins/Irving can buy minutes while LBJ rests now, by the time LBJ is 35, Wiggins and Irving will be carrying him. Much rather see those guys build a 10 year program than a 2 and done. Use LBJ much like the Spurs with Duncan, surround him with younger legs, than just a Big 2. Unless the price tag comes down on Love, forget it.

That may be their thinking since they keep saying that Wiggins will not be included in any trade. But then do you waste the prime years of this generation's greatest player? Just scroll through all the posts on this forum complaining about wasting Dirk the last 2 years and technically, he's on the downside of his prime where Bron still has a few more to go.
I understand the logic, but I really don't think I agree ... I'd send Wiggins for KLove to pair with Bron.

But did the Mavs ever have a player like Wiggins' caliber to pedal for a top 20 player? Okay, should have nailed Nash to the AAC lockerroom during free agency, but to acquire a talent via trade? The long running bit was okay, we move for Love, but what's left with superstar A and Love?
