TNT Bias: Charles Barkley & Team
Good morning Mavs Fans one and all,
I just watched our Mavs win the season series against the Sac Queens. Certainly not the best game Dallas has played, but they managed to win (yet again great play in the 4th quarter). The game was on TNT. The post game show on TNT is becoming a routine: Charles Barkley rambling on and on about how "Dallas is not a contender." I am sick and tired of the man giving out his *professional* and *unbiased* opinion. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is sports commentary at its best! For heaven's sake, Barkley was calling the Kings a contender prior to the Webber trade. This guy trying to take away what Dallas has accomplished this season. Any team with a 31-16 record (especially when it is fighting through injuries) is a contender. Heck, the best team in the East (i.e. Heat) has lost the same number of games as Dallas and this man is going to sit there and tell me that Dallas is not a contender? I am tired. I hate the TNT pre-game and post-game shows. May the Mavs prove this lunatic wrong.

As far as the topic goes, I don't at all understand why so many fans STILL get their panties twisted over what Barkley says about the Mavs. In fact, nearly every team except the Spurs tend to have similar reactions to TNT post games. Its silly really.

Oh come on.. if you take Barkley so seriously that it really bothers you during your free time... then you need to seriously assess your standards for what is supposed to be good analysis and what is supposed to be entertainment. Barkley's just having fun.
