ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME.
This is when they decide to guard Paul one on one with the worst defender on the team?

Seriously, I am not one to call out this coach. But that pathetic defensive assignment has cost us 5 straight points. After they'd been trapping him extremely effectively in the third. Total BS.

CP3 should pay 12 of his 17 million to flop fines.
That's ridiculous, worst flopper ever.

I'm in agony over this game and I have to listen to 129 year old Dick Stockton until the end of the game if I choose not to rip my ears off before then.

1. The call on James
2. The "charge" against Carter
3. The "block" by Griffin
5 against 8!

Up 2, but they have the possession advantage here with 49 seconds. They'll probably go with it about 30 seconds left. Just need to make sure Barnes, Butler, Crawford don't hit us with a 3. Come on Mavs.

Again, the Mavs draw the play for Carter instead of Dirk. Again it fucks them over.

We just can't learn our lesson this year. Give Dirk the ball in the final minute.

Carter did not pass it to Dirk...

More people should care about this Mavs team. They really give a s***. They dodged a few open three bullets already though.

He wasn't supposed to pass the ball to Dirk. Did you not see the play? Dirk curled to set the screen and drifted to give Carter the angle. That's from the bench.

Worst thing about this with 5 seconds left: Vince is going to shoot.

Chris Paul just bent the Mavericks over and...well you know.
Unbelievable that this team can't get it to Dirk in crunch time. Let's see who it goes to here. No doubt a Carter fade away three.

Oh, and great idea to play straight up on Paul the last two plays Mavs. I thought they learned their lesson earlier in the quarter, but clearly not.
It's amazingly simple. Take the ball out of Paul's hands. Put it in Dirk's.

Dirk had position and wanted the ball or was ready to receive it!

Knowing Dick Carlisle he'll call a fadeaway 30 footer by Vince.

That's simply not true at all.
The play was designed for Vince. It was an inverted version of the Dirk/Jet pindown screen from game 2 of the finals, except both players went the opposite way after Carter set the screen for a curling Nowitzki, with the shot designed for Carter.

You must not have seen it right.
That play has several options usually, depending how the defense plays it, but in this case it was designed for Carter only, all the way.

It's amazing. It took 70 games and until the end of March to see Dirk getting forcefed.

It's really novel how good things happen whe Dirk gets the ball where he likes it.
