Official 2009 NFL Regular Season Thread
NFL is finally back!
Steelers seem to always look kinda sloppy, but they just win Super Bowls.

Great game.
Ben Roethlisberger is a bad ass.

I'm so glad i have Willie Parker on my Fantasy team.
13 rushes for 19 yards.
My team sucks.

I noticed people not wanting to touch him with a 39 and a half foot poll in all of my drafts this year. Talk about a quick fall. He was very well thought of not long ago.

Fantasy football is about looking forward, not backward...
EDIT: just noticed this isn't the FF thread... Willie Parker just hit a wall...

Can't wait for Lovie Smith's weekly press conference when he has to keep repeating the phrase: "Jay Cutler is my quarterback".

This isn't directly NFL related but Coors Light outdid themselves with the Romeo Crenell commercial. Best one yet.

So I guess the Titans are starting out 0-2. With the way their pass defense looks, they might be in some trouble.

Cheifs and Raiders are pure garbage. Worthless dogs. So are the skins and the rams.
What the hell Green Bay? geeeeze.

Anyone watch the MNF game?
Miami with less than a minute to go, 0 timeouts, in their own territory facing a 2nd and 20, they run several play-action fakes. I mean wtf. Who would even bite on those play-actions?? Then on 3rd down they do a QB sneak for 1 yard with less than 30 seconds left to get a first down, only to spike the ball on the next play. WTF.

I feel bad for the Titans. Their team is good. Just running into the wrong teams at the wrong time. It's kinda like my Dallas-Mavs Fantasy team!

Both are wearing throwback jerseys.
The Oilers sure could use Warren Moon right about now!

Oh, I get it, but it says HOUSTON in big, bold letters across the front of the coach's jersey...
How far do they throwback?

Is it just me or is Detroit due a win? I wasn't brave enough to pick them in survivor, but I was tempted to because frankly Washington's offense just isn't good, which always makes them ripe for an upset.

I picked them (the Lions), but I only put one confidence point on it so I'm not sure how much it counts.

I wish I had league pass or whatever it is called and could watch something different from the dreck that it is on right now. I would especially like to see the Titans playing in those old Oilers uniform. The more I think about it, the world was a better place when there were Houston Oilers, in those baby blue uni's.
And yes, I think it sets up well for a Detroit win today.
