Well-they almost did- does that count??? Man- that was one crazy finish. Lucky play- not a lucky shot, but very lucky to get the chance to take that shot. Vlade swats that away to anywhere else on the court and its game over- maybe series over...wow

You are 100% right...it was a lucky PLAY, as Webber said....but Vlade, damn, he was way out of line.

Good point reeds,
I thought about that too. Of all the places to swat the ball it goes right into the hands of Horry. Amazing. So it sure was a lucky play. But the shot itsself was damn clutch. No luck here. |

Yeah.....and despite some Vlade bashing on this board, tipping the ball out was the percentage play too. That's such a reaction play it's ridiculous to criticize him for having made a bad decision. Pretty much everything else I've read said it was the right play by Vlade.
The missed free throw, however, is another matter. |
