Surely it's the Suns, why would he opt out at 39 years old of 30 million.

Even though the Knicks just signed several players they can get up to about 30 million with a few releases including Derrick Rose. Derozan?

He's a Raptor guy, and Powell is from Canada. I don't think there's anymore to it than speculation.

Wat? The post was speculating trading Powell to Toronto for Dragic.

Shams Charania: Sources: The NBA has set salary cap for 2021-22 season, effective for August free agency: $112,414,000 cap, $136,606,000 tax line. Cap, tax for 2022-23: $119, $145 — with cap level about $4 million higher than previous projections.

If Derrick Rose has anything left in the tank, I'd be interested in him if he's bought out.
I still think we end up with THJ and Dragic. i.e. another epic fail, and I've got yet another year to whine about Dwight Powell.
sigh

Sterling Brown played for SMU, and played for Kidd as a rookie in Milwaukee.

Sterling Brown: Wasn't he wrongfully tased by police outside a pharmacy in 2018 in Milwaukee? $750,000 settlement.
Then wasn't he injured in a fight outside of a "night club" in Miami? Out for the rest of the season.
You know, one incident is plain bad luck. But twice in 3 years?
He and KP gonna haveta buddy system to stay outta trouble.

Jeff Green to Denver. 2 year/$10 million.
Surprising to me after he played pretty well last year for the Nets.
