A. Dirk is undeniably a superior player to Gus Johnson.

B. Dirk was a *more* diverse offensive player than KAJ or Malone. KAJ still seems to be vastly confused in thinking Dirk is solely a shooter.

C. Prime Dirk was a better defensive rebounder than KAJ and Malone, especially in the playoffs.

Nach der Saison 2017 werde ich schauen, wie es mir geht. Da werde ich dann 39 Jahre alt sein. 20 Jahre bei einer Mannschaft zu spielen, wäre eine Riesensache. Ich muss mir keine Schmerzmittel vor einer Partie reinhauen, wie das andere ältere Veteranen hier immer gemacht haben. Ich mache das noch alles „all natural”, also ohne Medikamente und wenn es so weiter geht, dann hänge ich vielleicht ein weiteres Jährchen nach 2017 dran.

Your graphic regarding Karl Malone is wrong. He got there 17 times as well, not 13. Dirk has a chance to tie him after this season. Malone made it 17 times between 86-87 and 2002-03. Kobe is missing there completely. Kobe has done it 16 times so far (like Dirk), but is probably missing it this season.

Nowitzki, who moved to center when the Mavs shook up the starting lineup before snapping their five-game losing streak Monday in Charlotte, has thrived offensively and held up as a rebounder in limited exposure at the position this season. According to data from nbawowy.com, Nowitzki has averaged 24.9 points and 11.1 rebounds per 36 minutes as a center. The Mavs have outscored their opponents by 69 points in 215 minutes with Nowitzki as the big man.

And yet ESPN and national shows spent 3 days talking about Lebron unfollowing the Cavs on twitter... with nothing more than a small blurb on Dirk's 40 point game SMH. I'm pretty sure if Kobe did it there would be wall to wall ESPN coverage. Dirk will forever be criminally underrated.
