ESPN Poll:

Which Western Conference team poses the biggest threat to Lakers in the playoffs:

Spurs
Nuggets
Rockets
Hornets
Blazers

No Jazz or Mavs?

sounds about right.

Thank you Suns. Hornets lose. Mavs can grab 6th place.

Best case scenario.

We play the Spurs in first round and win, The Jazz play the Lakers in the first round and beat them. Then we beat the Nuggets in the 2nd round. And get the Trail Blazers in the WCF. It's a dream I know, but still theroretically possible.

Harris hasn't really been the same since he came back from injury. His stats are down and turnovers way up.

Great battle in the 4th between Roy and Kobe right now. Roy´s a great scorer. He makes it look so easy and allways has great body control.

Also watching this game I think that Oden has a chance to become a player. He´s not the quickest but he is massive and is starting to show some developement. If it happens and he becomes good the Blazers will be really really scary.

lol showbe choked it away.

I like to see the Lakers lose but now it is very likely they don´t have anything to play for in that last game against Utah. They are two games behind Cleveland.

Not really sure how Kobe choked it, Roy hit two clutch jumpers at the end that was just too much to handle. Great game though, great atmosphere.

---

Devin update:

News: Harris left Friday's game because of a sore left shoulder in the third quarter and did not return to New Jersey's loss to Detroit, the Associated Press reports.
Spin: Harris finished with one point, two rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes before leaving. The Nets are back in action on Saturday at home against Orlando.

He's missed 12 of 79 games so far.

Well not a "classic" choke. He just wanted to be the man and made bad decisions at the end. Ill advised 3 pointer, and that drive where he threw the ball away after being denied. Roy was great.

Warriors beating the Jazz by 17 in the 4th, in Utah. Wow.

Holy crap. CJ Watson went for 38/9/7!!!!

No Maggette, no Crawford, no Ellis, no Jackson.

Goodness what a shocking loss.

I didn't even watch the first 3 quarters. I pretty much assumed that the Jazz would win handily. Then I checked the score going into the 4th and I saw that the Warriors were up by a huge margin. That's when I finally watched.

Thanks Warriors!

Warriors beat them without those four and despite ridiculous home-cooking for the jazz in the fourth quarter. With only 7 young guys(and only 2 guards), they didn't let the refs decide and leave me pretty impressed. Now, MC, pay this man off!

Edit: Just learned that Nellie has not even coached that game, so I guess there's no need to surrender millions.

The Jazz play no defense and really are not that talented. But mostly, they don't play D. Their pick-and-roll defense is just awful.

Impressive win by the Warriors. Utah was awful all night and only seemed to come alive when they were getting favorable calls in the 4th quarter.

They only have 7 players to dress with Brandan Wright and Marco Belinelli out along with the main stars. Though I believe Belinelli will return on Monday against the Spurs.

15 minutes into this Cavs-Celtics game and the Celtics didn't even have 11 points.

43-16 Cavs right now.

I'm real impressed with B Easy. That guy is legit.

And holla at me on Wednesday. I think I'm going to the Mavs game. I'll be in a TMAC jersey, but with his name taped over.

Okay, so Finley definitely did not get this shot off in time:

If this costs the Rockets the SW Division and/or home court then....there is nothing anyone can do about it. It sucks. How is that not a reviewable play?

If it costs the Rockets the SW division they didn't deserve it to begin with. You guys hold on your own destiny. If you win out don't you guys get the division? As far as the Kings go, last I saw they were up by 12 in the 2nd quarter. But they are the Kings. I'm sure they're not hurting. Another loss to contribute to their Blake Griffin cause.

If we win out, we do get the division (by tie-breakers), so we definitely hold our own destiny, but if the Spurs had lost, it would have given us some cushion.

I was at the game and let me tell you that left a bitter taste with Kings fans. Rightly so as Finley clearly did not get the shot off in time. In fact when Parker passed the ball out to Finley it just clicked to 1 second on the clock.

The reason it can't be reviewed is because it was at the end of the shot clock and not the quarter.

The reason it can't be reviewed is because it was at the end of the shot clock and not the quarter.
They need to change that rule. Shouldn't even be a rule though. They should just use their own judgement. Parker screwed up not giving the ball up earlier. He would've been hurt the most had they took that Fin 3 pointer away.

I just noticed on the picture that the backboard light isn't on even though the clock shows 00. Maybe the ref was looking for that instead of the clock? Not saying that excuses the error but it might explain why the refs missed it.

I'm pretty sure the red lights come up only for the end of quarters, not for shot clock violations.

The horn should've been a give-away though. It should be pretty cut and dry for those instances...they blew that one for sure.

Are you sure? I could've sworn the red light comes on after every quarter and shot clock violation. You could be right.

I'm not 100% sure, but I always notice the buzzer when it happens, never really ever see a light. Apologies if I'm wrong!

Forgive me because I don't know how to post the youtube clip here so you have to view on spurstalk. But the buzzer doesn't sound until the ball is out of Finley's hand. So not only did the red light not come on but the buzzer doesn't sound until after the 00 is on the clock too.
